Chapter 15

After Haku calmed down, Zabuza laid down to sleep, as instant regeneration did take a toll on one's body.

Naruto allowed Haku one more night in the cabin with Zabuza. He would meet Naruto at the docks near the ruins, where they would head back to Tazunas.

He used Hirashin to flash back to the clearing, where Sasuke was just about to leave, having come to find him.

"Naruto. Kakashi wants you." He said. He turned and started walking back towards the house. Naruto appeared next to him, where Sasuke decided to bring up a long thought upon subject.

"Sasuke-nii? Why do you think of me that way? You hate me."

Naruto hummed softly as he thought of an answer. He honestly doesn't know why he revealed his little nickname for the raven.

"I see you as a rival, friend and brother. In time I'll tell you the full truth, but for now, I need your trust. Even in the darkest times you can trust me, when you feel as though you're lost. Know this and never forget." His voice was soft and somber, and Sasuke studies him for a moment before nodding slightly.

Naruto sighed silently in relief, slowly, Sasuke was changing, and for the better. They fell silent as the house came into view.

Naruto stiffened slightly as he felt someone's gaze on him. His eyes flickered to the window on the second floor and he sighed as he met the single eye of Kakashi.

He then smiled mischieviously. He body flickered to the back of the house and Hirashined behind Kakashi, tackling him.

Kakashi groaned. "Naru-chan why......!?" He whined. Naruto smirked.

"Why not? It was so fun~." He sang playfully.

This time it was Kakashis turn to smirk. "I know what else is fun."

Naruto blushed as he was pressed against the wall, lips captured by the silver haired jonin. He sighed, allowing Kakashi to deepen the kiss. He threaded his fingers through silky silver locks, and leaned into the kiss, pouting when Kakashi broke it.

He found out why when Sasuke opened the door. He looked over and saw Kakashi staring at him mask back up.

"Yes Sasuke?" He asked without looking away from the blond leaning against the wall.

"Hn. Making sure Naruto actually came up here instead of running off again." He said, shooting Naruto a pointed look, to which he just chuckled sheepishly. He turned and went back downstairs.

Naruto wondered at the silence that ensued. Kakashi cleared his throat.

"Maa," he started with an eye smile. "So, what happened with Zabuza?"

Naruto smiled. "No one has to die this time! And.... Haku. He's lonely. I can't wait until tomorrow. He'll be able to been to know people his age. And him and Sasuke will sympathize with one another. Zabuza is mine. I'll probably use him for Uzushio. They will need an ambassador."

Kakashi nodded. "Remember though, Uzushio needs a good leader first."

Naruto nodded. "And I have the perfect one for the job. An Uzumaki too. I think he will enjoy Uzushio much more than Ame. Ko-chan is much more suited for Amekage than him."

Kakashis eye widened. "Naruto, you can't mean-"

"Nagato? Yes. He is a born leader, with charisma just as strong as mine. And him and Konan can help us in the formation of the Allied Nations once more."

Kakashi sighed in resignation. Naruto would find a way. "So, I'm guessing you are going soon?"

Naruto nodded, face sad. "Once Gato is dead, I'm going to go. There are many lost heirlooms lying in the vaults that would help us stop the war."

Kakashi dipped his head. He moved forward, and pressed his forehead to the blondes, staring into eyes bluer than the sky on a cloudless day.

"Stay safe?" He said.

"Always. " Naruto affirmed, pressing his lips to his through the mask.

They headed downstairs, placing on masks of cheerful ignorance.

Gatos Hideout.

The Naruto clone waited in the shadows, and smirked, eyes glowing red as he used Kuramas vision to see in the darkened hall lit only by slivers of moonlight streaming through the closed curtains.

Gato walked by, intent on leaving for his quarters, when a blade shot over his head glowing a pale blue as the moonlight glinted off of it. He fell, and saw the sword embedded in the wall. It was the famed Kubikiribōchō. He turned to see brown eyes tinted with bloodlust, and whimpered as a grin spread under the bandage wrapped face.

"So Gato, I hear you planned on fooling me 'an Haku. Why don't we talk in your office?"

Gato yelped as he was forcibly thrown into a room. He looked to Zabuza and his eyes crossed as he stated at the sword right in front of him. He whimpered once more and flinched as Zabuza thrust something at him.

Looking down he saw ownership right papers, and looked up to Zabuza.

"W-what do you want?" He asked fearfully.

"Sign over ownership to Tsunami Uzumaki. Now. " Zabuza growled.

Gato stared disbelievingly. "Why would I do- Ah!" He yelped a Kubikiribōchō nicked his nose, and a fine line of blood began dripping down his face.

"Do it, or die." Zabuza growled.

Gato grabbed a nearby pen and signed under the transfer of Co. Section, and flinched as the papers were grabbed by a gloved hand. The last thing he saw, was a blond halo of hair before everything went black.

Haku came out from behind a curtain, and Clone stood by Zabuza, eyes still red as blood, glowing softly in the dim light. (Yeah imma call individual clones Clone.)

Zabuza bowed to Clone though he knew it was a clone. "Mission complete Naruto-sama."

Clone nodded. "Boss says that you two will be welcome in Konoha with open arms. Report to Tazunas tomorrow, both of you. Haku, go to the docks first. Zabuza, don't let the genin or family see you. Boss will explain the rest."

The two nodded and vanished while the clan prepared to play Gato for a few days.
