That Day

Seriously?

I'm updating! I'm bored so yeah! I'm gonna update! I don't if this is gonna short or long. I hope I make it long.

Maya POV

       "Can I ask you an important question?" Lucas blurts out and then puts his eyes back on the road.

       I freeze. Then I clear my throat. "Yes, Lucas?" I somehow manage to get out, but with a scratchy, high pitched sorta sound.

    "Um I just wanted to ask.....um....do you think we're gonna have fun this week?" Lucas asks me nervously.

    Seriously? I thought it was gonna be important!

     "Seriously?" I mumble. "Yeah of course cowboy! We're gonna have a hoot of fun having a hoedown. And doing some square dancing." I say dancing. "Or whatever you do in the south." I laugh.

     Lucas laughs. " Yeah good job city girl that's exactly what we do down in the south."

     Okay good we're getting along this will be fun! Hopefully!

--------Time Skip-------

    Lucas's POV

    Maya and I have been joking around for the past couple hours. It's actually pretty fun. We haven't been bothered by Riley and Farkle.

     "So what else do y'all cowboys do in the south?"she asks with a teasing tone and laughing.

      "Well we talk smoothly to pretty girls." I answer while back playing our game.

       I can still talk to her fine, but I'm still pretty upset I was too nervous to tell Maya how I feel. I have this whole vacation right.

       Maya's smile fades for a second then laughs again. "Yeah keep telling yourself that cowboy."

      I laugh and keep a smile on my face. "Hey there's a McDonald's over there lets  stop for some food then Farkle and I could switch."

       "Yeah I'll stay here so you could be with Riley or whatever." Maya says and looks down.

      "Nah she'll probably go with Farkle here to the front." I explain as I park next to the McDonald's and Maya's face lights up.

       We get out and take the others out as well. Then we enter the McDonald's.
