Maya POV

     Lucas and I were interrupted when we felt a sudden jerk. Then the cars stopped. We got out to ask Riley and Farkle what happened. Riley and Farkle were outside the front car. Farkle was trying to figure out what happened and obviously Farkle couldn't do it himself so Lucas helped him.

      Aww! Isn't Lucas the sweetest? Too bad he's going out with Riley when we're supposed to be the ones that are meant to be. I deserve him. Not Riley. She can have Farkle because she obviously likes him over Lucas.

(Mini Time Skip, like just a few minutes)

     We all screamed a bloody scream. I jumped on Lucas's back, he held onto me, Riley did the same with Farkle.

     I think this just messed up the Liley relationship, here comes Laya and Filey! Yay! I feel like a bad friend. JK! I feel awesome!

      "WTF is that?" Farkle yells. I stay there staring at it.

       "Why are you asking us? We wouldn't know! You're the smart one!" Lucas yells back.

        "True." Farkle replies.

        "But this can't be real. It has to be a prank." Riley says in denial.

         We go closer. Riley and I stay their backs.

         "Out of all the people that pass through here we're the ones that this happens to." Lucas says.

        "Well that's the universe." I respond, speaking for the first time.

         I have my arms wrapped around Lucas's neck. He must know I'm afraid he hold my hand. I blush and smile.

        At least he doesn't see me right now. I hope.

      Lucas's POV

This is freakin scary. But, I have to stay strong for Maya. The more I talk to her the more I like, maybe love her and I think she feels the same. I wish I wasn't still dating Riley. We're probably are gonna break up after this. For good.

     I stare at the bodies. Some, that were closer to the street looked like it was run over which we probably did. That's Farkle's fault he was the one driving. Another group looked like it juster starved in these woods, there wasn't any blood or gore. Then they were some looked like they were murdered. It looked like we were stuck in the Hunger Games. It seemed like the game with even more people, all ages. I don't have a good feeling about this.

      Farkle and I started walking with the girls on our backs. I don't know what we were looking for but as we got deeper into the woods we saw more corpses.

      "What do you think this is?" Maya asked her voice shaking.

       Riley and Farkle don't talk. They must be in deep thought.

        "Maya. I don't know what this really is but whatever it is I'll keep you safe." I grab her hand and kiss it. Even though I can't see her I feel her smiling.

        "Lucas, do you think we will actually be safe?" She asks scared.

        "I don't know Maya. But I do know that I'll be with you the whole time." I say smiling.

        Maya is perfection. I really think I might love her. I really hope I can keep her safe here. We don't know where we are going, our phones have no service, and Farkle and Riley might not being even looking forward. They're now in deep conversation. I know we'll make it out. Scractch that. I hope.

Oh I feel like giving you a sneak peek to the next chapter since I didn't update for such a long time

SNEAK PEEK:
We kept walking. More bodies. More trees. More dirt. Suddenly something catches my eye. I see something that looks like a person, next to a bunch of trucks. I tell them to follow Riley and I. We hear a screech. Then a bloody scream. Something is wrong. Really wrong.

Yeah it's gonna be Filey's POV since this was Laya
