Woah I did not expect this to get noticed so soon- sorry if this seems boring it'll get more exciting soon ;w;

Aurora sighed, entering her house. She lived pretty close to the park, so all she had to do was walk a little while.
While she cleaned up her home, Aurora thought about the people she had met. Anne the dresser, Mimzy the other performer, and Alastor, one of the audience members that was brave enough to approach her and sit with her. He seemed a little.. odd. That may be rude of her, but it was somewhat true. Aurora couldn't help but noticed his eyes flash and hand twitch when she asked why he was here. After all, why would a radio host be at an anniversary at the park?
Aurora sighed and forced herself to calm down. It was probably to broadcast it on the radio. She fiddled with the dials, finally catching the local station. A loud, and enthusiastic voice was very clearly heard over the static. Alastor. He was talking about the anonymous serial killer making a presence at the park.
Aurora stiffened.

Aurora's P.O.V.

We could have been killed. Mimzy. Anne. Me. Anyone from the audience..
I flinched, listening. His ecstatic voice said nothing about the killer murdering anyone, so that was good.. I guess.
Running my fingers over the top of the radio, I turned it off, looking down.

I walked outside, my senses on full alert. It was routine these days, to
never let your guard down. You never knew when they would strike. They meaning the killer.
Call me paranoid, but everyone was. The kill count had reached nine, and not so much as a shoe print gave evidence of the killer.
I continued walking, moving my black hair out of my face. I walked past the radio station, heading to a nearby
jeweller's store.
"Ah, we meet again." An all-too familiar voice said behind me. Whirling
around, I saw Alastor smiling at me. Suppressing a shiver, I smiled back. "Hello, Alastor." I murmured. "Is something bothering you, Aurora?"
Alastor tilted his head at me. "No. Well, everyone is bothered by the killer. I'm just.. a little on edge." I finally admitted. Alastor's smile never
wavered. "I'm sure he wouldn't lay a finger on someone as sweet as you. Of course, assuming it's a he from the very
few shreds of evidence I have received
from the radio station." Smooth as a snake, Alastor covered his tracks. Of
course, Aurora doesn't know
this. I looked down at what seemed to be a compliment. My cheeks were
fading from light red to my normal skin colour as I looked back at him. "What brings you out this late?" Alastor asked me curiously. Oh! I hadn't even noticed the sun slinking down the sky.
"I was heading to the jeweler's, but now that I think about it I should head back. It's darker than I expected." I replied, blinking. "Want me to accompany you?" Alastor offered, his wide grin the same as ever. "Don't you live far though?" I sounded confused. "Oh, it's no problem. I don't mind a dark walk alone." He shrugged. "But what about th-" Alastor cut me off, sounding a little annoyed now. "I'm sure it'll be fine, Aurora." His smile looked a little forced. "Uh huh." I muttered, eyeing
him strangely. "No need to worry about me, doll." Alastor sighed.

The walk back was generally quiet, but we occasionally exchanged usual small talk like we usually did while talking.
Finally reaching my home, Alastor stopped and looked like he was thinking. "Actually. Would you mind if I stayed in your home for tonight?" Alastor asked. He appeared to think nothing at all was strange about asking someone he met a day ago to stay in their home overnight. "I.. erm.. uh.." I stuttered, tripping over my own words. Alastor gave me that confused and curious head tilt again. "Of course you can stay in the guest room." I replied, still a bit taken aback.
"Splendid." Alastor preceded as though nothing happened. Unlocking my door, I gave him the quick house tour: Two bathrooms, living room, my room, spare room, and guest room.
"Would you like the guest room or spare room Alastor?" I asked. Thank goodness those two rooms were far up the hall and away from my room down the hall and to the side. "The guest room seems a little more furnished, so I may as well take that one." He decided. Well crap, that one was a little closer to my room.
"Don't you think it's a little awkward to be in a lady's house you met a day ago?" It took me a moment, but I mustered up the courage to say the words I've been keeping down for a while.
"Oh, shall I leave? I don't want to be a disturbance to you and your home." Alastor asked genuinely. "No, no.. it's fine." I replied. "I'm not that type of person, Aurora." He sounded serious now, glancing at me in the eyes. "I know, and I trust you." I replied. "Well, I'm heading to bed. Goodnight." I murmured. Alastor nodded.
I awkwardly hurried into my bedroom.

I wasn't able to sleep that night. It was so weird and awkward for him to be in my home, sleeping. I mean, he seemed nice but it was really odd for him to randomly ask to sleep in my home. I was aware that he decided to keep his ego down and have a little fear of the serial killer, and wanted some close shelter, but why me? This question rotated through my head over and over and over again. Why me? Why me? Why me? Why not a motel? I rolled over to face the slightly open door. Shit, I didn't close it..
Stop being a jerk and trust him. He said earlier he wouldn't be like that. I snapped at myself.
I stiffened like a stick, immediately closed my eyelids and relaxed my breathing to slow and rhythmic. A perfect fake slumber.
The creak of a door was quiet and discreet. I could oddly feel Alastor stare intently at me for a what felt like an eternity.
Finally, he walked down the hall as though he had cotton on his feet, not making a single sound. I wasn't aware that he had walked away until the door softly clicked shut.
The buzz of the radio was apparent after a while.
It was so weird. Was he trying to be nice and not wake me up by turning on the radio to filter noise? Or.. sneak out..? No, he was probably going back home. At midnight? Holy, shut up Aurora. It's late and who cares as long as he doesn't die. Rolling over, I fell back asleep.

Morning sun rays chased away the shadows of my home. Yawning, I raised my arms up to stretch. Waking up, I knocked on the spare room door. "I'm already up, and about to leave Aurora." His voice called from the kitchen presumably by the door.
"Oh, I didn't realize. Coming." I raced over to the door. The radio was still on. Same station. The one I never listened to. I stared at it, my palms going sweaty. Why was he still here... Alastor noticed my gaze. "How dreadful. Another death. I hope I can broadcast and help everyone catch the killer soon." Alastor said sincerely. Blinking, I looked back at him. Still a little shaken. "Y-y-y-yeah. Thank goodness you d-didn't w-walk home A-Alastor." I replied. It came out flat, unlike my shaky smile. He could have died if I denied him staying in my home. "I'm grateful for you letting me stay." "Don't you want breakfast?" I asked curiously. "No. I think it's best if I eat at my home. Good bye, Aurora. Have a lovely day." Alastor grinned and walked out. "Bye..." I murmured.

This doesn't line up properly.
