"Hey, slut, get up. Your idiotic performance is no excuse to uselessly lay in bed." The room service woman snapped, throwing her broom in attempt to wake me up.

I grabbed it before it could lay a stinging wound across my cheek. "First of all I know what an alarm is, second of all can you not read my fucking do not disturb sign?" I yelled at her in reply, sitting upright and throwing the broom back at her. She stumbled with it before balling her fists and glaring at me, letting out an angry grunt mixed in with a huff. "Just get the hell up." Slamming the door, I was left alone again. I threw the blankets off me and sat up.

Rubbing my eyes and smoothing my hair down, I contemplated getting up. Deciding it would be better to have a job, I got up and got ready for the day

Timeskip because I'm lazy-

Walking down the stairs, I was shocked to see Charlie wasn't there. In fact, no one was. The TV played white noise. Frowning, I switched it off. "...Hello?" I called out.

After a few minutes, no one answered. Reaching into my pocket, I slid out my pocket knife, and walked over to the bar.
Pushing the doors open, I walked over to the bar tender's table, opening the pocket knife. Husk wasn't passed out in his usual spot. "What the hell...?" I murmured. Going into the employee's only area where he had a bed and a room set up, I knocked once before pushing it open.
Looking through the crack, I spotted him snoring loudly, still wearing his hat. Letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding, I closed the door and sheathed my knife, putting it back in my pocket. Guess I overreacted with the knife.

Hopping up the stairs, I went to go in my room. Hesitating as I noticed a little  note taped to it, I ripped it off and looked at it.

Aurora

Sorry for leaving so soon. You aren't fired or anything. In fact you get a day off. The gang and I are going out to shop and go to the arcade possibly. We are so, so, SO sorry for not inviting you. I would, but of course they were all so impatient just to leave. Well. Have a good day off!

~Charlie

I wonder how I didn't notice.
Crumpling the paper up, I threw it away as I walked in. I thought long and hard. I didn't really know what else to do with an actual day off. I guess I could have some fun too? Not every time I go to the bar has to be to sing, right? I mean, I don't really have a weak stomach, so I can take a lot of alcohol.
Grabbing my small wallet I put it into my front pocket and started off, walking to the bar. I got a lot of weird looks. Some were in awe, others were annoyed. I stumbled forward as someone harshly slapped my back. "Going to have another cringe fest of a performance?" It was a dirty and scraggly fox looking demon. "Nope." Shoving him away so he wouldn't continue to jeer, I swiftly continued walking.
Entering the bar, I sat at one of the high chairs. The bartender frowned, but waited for my order. "Um, I guess I'll just have a Long Island iced tea." I told him, tapping my claws against the wood. "So soon? Those can get you drunk. It's only, like, one in the afternoon. Doubt you'd want one this early." The bartender scoffed, cocking an eyebrow. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose, knowing this would happen. "Just get me the drink..please..." I muttered. "Mhm." He grunted.
After a moment I felt the glass touch my elbow. Staring at the glass for a second, I muttered something in audible. "Look. Are you going to drink it or stare at it, miss?" He snapped. I slapped the bill on the table and went to sit down somewhere secluded.

•••••Timeskip•••••

I don't remember most of the night. It was vaguely drinking and laughing. Maybe dancing. Again, I don't remember. Lots of drinking. Lots and lots and lots..

"Where the fuck and who the fuck..?" I slurred as I realized I was being carried by someone. "You're drunk, just let me take you back." An annoyed sounding voice replied. I kicked my legs in the air a little. "But whyyyyy. I was fine therrreeee..." I whined, poking their bow tie. "Don't. Ahem.. don't touch my suit please." They fought to stay calm. Instead I observed their tie, and smoothed the wrinkles in it. "But it's m-messy." I hiccuped a little. "I am aware." They muttered. I noticed symbols floating around. "Oooooo. Red floaty thingies." I babbled, reaching out to them before they suddenly vanished. "Again, Aurora, you're drunk." They said exasperated. I continued hiccuping as I felt them go up stairs. Stairs. I live up stairs. Or something? Right? I don't know. I felt drowsy..

Jolting awake as I was placed on a bed, I squirmed. "Calm down. This is your room, Aurora." They told me. I quickly grabbed their tie as soon as they started to leave. "Nooo where are you goinnnngggg..?" I slurred, trying to get up. They froze, and didn't move. "I- I-... I'm going to sleep?" They sounded nervous. "Yes, you are." I murmured, still holding on to their tie. "Right here." My other hand flopped onto the far end of my bed. "Um.. no, I'm not." They laughed, sounding more nervous. "Get on the fucking bed before I kill you." I demanded, my words still slurred together and clearly very drunk. "No, Aurora. I have to go..." They sounded awkward and more nervous. "Just get in the bed asshole I won't touch you and I don't care what the hell you do to me.." I murmured. "Uh-.. I can't. Erm... okay..?" They frowned and awkwardly maneuvered around. Letting go of their tie I flopped around until I remembered how to get into the sheets. Not caring what they did, I slipped into sleep instantly.

My alarm clock loudly beeped at me. Slamming my hand on it to silence it, I slowly sat up. I jumped and very nearly screamed. Alastor was laying on the very edge of my bed, fast asleep. Scared for my life, I looked around the room. Rolling my eyes, I slumped back down and tried to recall last night. I think I almost killed the bartender. I drank wayyyy too much. Someone carried me into bed. Was that Alastor? Why was he in MY BED?! Pressing my hands against my head, I tried my hardest to remember. I grabbed his tie then I blacked out. I think. Maybe I was a drunk idiot and forced him to sleep in my bed or some twisted crap. Oh, wait.. I must look like a zombie. Running to the bathroom, I checked the mirror. My hair was in every direction literally possible, and my eyes had sagging bags underneath them. Huffing, I quickly cleaned myself up.

Walking back into my room, I saw Alastor get up. "What in the world happened last night?" I asked him. He cocked an eyebrow. The way he smiled permanently made it look like he was smirking. "Well. I had to take you home because no one else wanted to and you were REALLY drunk. Then, you grabbed at my tie and threatened me so that I would sleep in the same bed as you. I decided to stay because you likely would try to hurt me. Not that I couldn't kill you in seconds." Alastor explained, smoothing out his suit. "Oh goodness.. I'm sorry Alastor. I'm an idiot when I'm drunk and I do really weird things." I replied, embarrassed. "Mhm." He laughed a little. Raising an eyebrow back at him, he lowered his. Playfully rolling my eyes, I grabbed some clothes to change into.

After I finished getting ready, I noticed Alastor was still here, his back to me. He was poking around my room, probably bored. Smirking, I placed my feet quietly until I was right behind him. I suddenly lunged forward and grabbed his shoulders. Alastor jumped and whirled around, and didn't realize how close I was. He ended up smacking into me. Falling onto the floor, I started laughing. "Not.. funny.." Alastor murmured. "It is." I argued back, giggling. "Okay, we're ready, let's go." Alastor scooped me up and placed me on my feet before walking out the door. I finally stopped laughing, and followed him.

Of course, they were waiting in the lobby for us as usual. Charlie eyed us suspiciously, and Angel choked on what appeared to be nothing.
"Sooo... how was, ahem, your night?" Charlie asked while Angel continued to choke and stumbled off the chair behind Charlie. "It was fine, thank you." Alastor straightened his tie. "We didn't, erm, do that." He shivered. I nodded. "Are you-" Angel started, before breaking off into more coughs. "Sure about that?" Angel finished, and pulled himself back together as he stopped coughing. "..Yes." Alastor frowned at Angel, his wide grin never faltering. "Ookayyyy sure." Sitting back down, Angel didn't continue the conversation. Alastor sat beside Charlie and I. I snorted while trying not to laugh. "Well, looks like we have another day of work!" Charlie clasped her hands together and beamed. Everyone groaned except her and Alastor, but we stood up anyways to start working.
