*one month later*

"We're going to be late." I was currently in the mirror, fixing my stud earrings. We were going to dinner. Lawrence thought it would be relaxing."How do I look?" Turning around a smile appeared across my face.

"You look..great."

He kissed my cheek. "I think I'm ready...are you?" I asked smoothing my dress out. I could feel him eye fucking me. "Are you ready or not baby?" Snapping out of his trance, Law nodded his head. We made our way to Fernando's. It was quite nice on the inside. The ceiling was made to look like the stars in the sky.

The food on the menu changed everyday. They always have someone ready for you even when it's busy.

I order pasta and wine as always. I'm in love with the taste. When they brought out our food, I wasted no time digging in. Eating my pasta so I wouldn't have to make conversation. Truth be told I wasn't in the mood for it, but Lawrence smiled at me. It made me wonder why the sudden burst of happiness.

"You okay?" I eyed him as we ate.

"Just excited about our show coming up aren't you?" I been going through so much , If it wasn't for us practicing I would've forgotten about it. "I'm nervous." I played with my food a bit then sat my fork down to take a sip of wine. Lawrence as always reassured me everyone was going to love it.

I hope so because I do. I feel that dance at heart every time I do it. It's because I know I'm doing it not just for me, but for Zadie.

"Excuse me baby." I stood up feeling dizzy. Making my way to the restroom, I got into a staw just in time. All the pasta and wine came up even a little bit from this morning. I coughed holding my hair back. I hope the food here didn't get me sick. All I know is that I'm ready to lay down.

After washing my hands and fixing myself..again, I walked out the restroom throwing away a paper towel.

There was a woman talking to Lawrence at our table. He seemed to be smiling. One of his friends, I thought at first. The closer I got the more I recognized her. Morgan? His ex? Again? "I'm not feeling well babe, I want to go home." Both set of eyes darted to me walking up.

"Didn't we meet in New York?"

She gave me a small smile like she wanted to say something. Was she following us? "She was just leaving.." Law held my hand, pulling me close. Morgan rolled her eyes biting her lip at him. "Three days.." she said before showing us what her ass looked like in her tight fitted red dress as she walked away.

Clearing his throat Lawrence opened my door for me. "What's in three days?" I know he know I wasn't going to ignore what the lightbright bitch said. "Nothing, trust me." Yeah, right. I feel like I'm being told what I want to hear. Kano did it all the time. "I do." He put a hand on my thigh hearing the frustration in my voice.

I had the biggest head ache when I got to my apartment.

"You want me to get you anything else?" Law gave me Tylenol and put me in bed. I shook my head. "You can go home, I know you have calls to make." He's usually on the phone with companies that wants to use his studio.

He gets very busy I've seen him talk on two phones at the same time. Who need two phones? Right now he was with me. "You sure?" Nodding, I felt him put a kiss on my head.

Here I was, in my place alone. No Zadie to be making me soup or needing help with homework.

I just miss her. I wake up everyday and just for a split second there's peace. Then it all comes back. I cried and watched the sun go down from my bed. Didn't even feel myself go to sleep.

It was three am when I woke up and it was raining out. My buzzed on the dresser going crazy. I turned it on silent so I could sleep. Yet I could hear the vibration. "Hello?" Sitting up on my bed, I scratched my head. "Huh? I can't hear you?" The voice sounded somewhat familiar. It was Tommie, her voice shallow and the rain didn't make it any better.

"Come get me please?"

Getting the address, I didn't hesitate to get up. She was home. When I pulled up she was on the steps of her complex still in her pajamas. "Thanks." She never looked at me just kept her head in her lap. I brought Tommie all the way to my place.

"You can sleep in Zadie's room or the couch..." She hesitated for a moment then chose the couch.

"I'll get you more pj's and a blanket." Tommie clothes were wet from sitting outside. I jogged upstairs grabbing a pair of Zadie's. They looked about the same size. I tripped on my rug on the way in and saw a light at the door of my bed.

Lawrence forgot his other phone.

I sat it on my nightstand continuing to pull a cover from my bed. I offered Tommie something to eat and drink but she denied everything. I could feel something wrong. "You want to talk about it?" She only turned over, putting her back to me. "No, just forget it." I knew what that meant. She'll tell me when she is ready.

Zadie did the same thing. That's how I learned. I don't know if it's a teenage thing or a teenage girl thing. Turning off the lights, I made my way back to my bed.
