The Second

I had gloves, and covered shoes. My hair was under a hood, and my body was covered. I walked the streets with a rusted metal bar I had found in an alleyway. It was hidden in my sleeve. I had found a broken street lamp to hide under. That gave me about 5 feet of blackness, Or 10 feet of darkness. I hid in the shadows till a man walked within swinging range. I smirked as I raised the bar high. SMACK. The sickening crunch made me grin with joy. He went to shout but I shoved my foot in his mouth. He gagged on the plasticy cover as I swung the bar down. He was knocked out cold. I laughed with glee as I beat him with my bar of Tetanus. I stabbed it through his stomach and listened quietly as his stomach acid sizzled.

My phone rang and I jumped. Before bothering to pull the phone out of my pocket I took joy in stabbing the bar through his groin. I started running home as I pulled my gloves off and stumbled, taking off my shoe covers. I dropped them in the river on the way home and pulled out my phone. Shit, mom. "Hey mom!" "Where are you?" "Out back!" "Oh. Well, time to come inside." "Alright, let me get out of the tree!" Silence. She hung up. My feet pounded as I ran home.

I quickly pulled off my blood-spattered clothes and threw them behind the couch. I raced to my room and pulled on pajamas. I grinned as I said goodnight to my parents and slept soundly.

It was the last few days of school. I walked into homeroom and sat down, waiting for another day of teachers giving us half-assed papers to complete. "Hey! You're out of the hospital!" A larger boy gave me a cheeky grin. His hair drooped in front of his face as he bounced towards me. He used his fingers to comb it back out of his face. His hair was a dyed blonde with pink tips. He winked his contacted purple eyes as he held out his hand. "Cas. Obviously you're Y/N." I narrowed my eyes and left him hanging. He laughed awkwardly. "So, not gonna say hi to your secret admirer? That's cool. I stood and looked him in the eye. He took a half-step back. "Surprise?" I notice the teacher look our way and quickly sat down. Cas took the seat next to me. "So did you enjoy my card?" I glared at him as he leaned on his arm. He grinned at me. "Fucking asshole." He moved his chair next to my desk. "I do actually! I'm bisexual." "So what? Leave me alone." He looked a little hurt. "Not even gonna give me a chance?" "Nope." He awkwardly ran his left hand through his hair. "Is there someone else?" Death. "No. But I don't want anyone." He raised his eyebrows. "So you're aromantic?" "What?" "No want for romantic relationships." "Sure." Or you're ugly but whatever.
