Also quick IMPORTANT note, I understand that this pic is very similar to most fanfics and I'm sorry if it looks like I'm copying. But know that I had no intention whatsoever to make it look like I was copying any one at all. The beginning I admit looks very similar to LifesLemonz and I actually used the idea as inspiration for the beginning. But I am NOT copying the plot because I have the plot completely figured out. So I'm sorry to any other writers that may have felt that it was similar to them and I give full credit to the writers, including LifesLemonz for all their efforts. But from now on at this chapter, the book chapters are all my idea, and the plot is all raw. <3 Now that that's been cleared up let's continue.

"Fantastic!" Ox said right before he went back to work. "I guess we should probably take a better look around. See what happened whole we were gone!" Moxy suggested. The uglydolls dolls agreed and left the building. All that remained in the main office room were Lou and Mandy. Now realizing how awkward it is, they both felt a little uncomfortable. Lou didn't want to feel like that, he wanted to feel comfortable when talking to Mandy. But to both of their rescue, Mandy decided to break the silence and brought a more comfortable atmosphere in the room.

"So... Nice job, pretty boy." Mandy teased Lou and playfully punched him weakly in the arm, only raised a brow and smiled in appreciation.

"Heh, couldn't have done it with our you Mandy. " There was another silence. But it want awkward, it was more like 'who would talk about something first'. Lou knowing that this was his chance to take another step closer to happiness, he took it and made the first move.

"Mandy..." he took Mandy's hand in his, this making her blush. He continued to talk look down at her hand. "There's no easy way to say this... But I am so sorry." Mandy only widened her eyes and shakes off his apology. "What No Lou its okay-" "No. It's not okay..." Lou looked up into her eyes and spoke with comfort and remorse. "I made you feel... awful and unaccepted. I made you think that how you looked would determine how successful your future would've been. But I want you to know that every thing I said back then is NOT true. And I hope you can forgive me, Mandy. Really." Lou finished. Mandy eventually stopped blushing as he continued, feeling over by his words. She smiled and softly said "Thank you, Lou." The two of them smiled, sharing a silent, comfortable moment with one another.

"Why don't we actually catch up a bit." Mandy suggested standing up a bit more after she shared her idea. Lou on the other hadn't hesitated, being outside with everyone watching him? After all he'd done and said? He doubted going outside was the wisest idea. "I don't know Mandy... I really don't think hanging outside would be the wisest idea..." Lou said putting a hand behind his head. Mandy realised he had a point. "Why don't we go back to my place then?" Lou smiled at that idea. Going back to Mandy's comfortable house where it would just be him and her? For sure.

"I like that idea." Lou snapped his fingers in satisfaction.

The two dolls walked side by side with one another. Both of them feeling much more comfortable when they hear the sounds of nature around them, and talking people. But of course, where there is people near Lou, is where trouble usually comes. Both of them heard whispers. Some were awful and some were more intrigued and taken back by how Lou had changed with his appearance.

"It's the traitor..."

"Why is he walking with Mandy? Out of all people?

"He'll never change"

That last one stung him, he'll have to admit. But then h noticed some comments that were flattering to his appearance.

"His skin looks more shiny..."

"Not gonna lie, that suit makes him look really hot."

"God dammit. Why does he have to be so attractive?"

Lou secretly smiled and mentally rolled his eyes. Sure it was nice to hear people secretly complement him, but they didn't really see him for who he really was at the time. So those compliments didn't really mean anything to him at the same time. Plus, he had Mandy to thank for his efforts. Lou must of been so deep in though with himself that he didn't even notice how close they were to her house.

"We're here!" Mandy exclaimed. Lou looked back up from the ground and relaxed. "Oops... Sorry" Mandy apologised for startling him, he only shook it off and smiled.

Mandy unlocked her door and they both stepped in. To Lou, the scent of her house just hit him so fast that he had to stop, leaving Mandy confused as to his sudden action. 'Vanilla and Lavender.." Lou thought to himself. "Uhh... You okay?" Mandy asked, confused as ever. Lou looked up "Oh sorry. Your house smells amazing." Lou complimented, mentally hoping that it didn't sound weird. But Mandy laughed "Thanks. I like to take good care of this place.Even though I may only come here from time to time." Mandy admitted. Mandy walked over to her very well-organised, clean kitchen and Lou sat down on her light grey couch. The place was so clean and bright that it still shocked Lou, and was still very hard to take in.

"You want some tea? I can make a pretty good English breakfast." Mandy boasted a little at the end. "Yeah sure." Lou said, sinking into the softness of the couch, he sighed in relaxation waiting for the tea. Hearing the sound of the boiling kettle and Mandy slightly humming calmed him to a point where he didn't even know what 'stressed' meant. To him at this point, they were just words. Mandy eventually managed to finish making them both tea. "Sit up." Mandy woke Lou at of his relaxed state. "Yes mom. " Lou joked, Mandy rolling her eyes in annoyance and amusement.

They both sat up facing diagonally next to each other. Mandy already was drinking her tea, whereas Lou was leaving it to cool down due to having a sensitive tongue. Lou always that about this question.. And it always occurred to him ever since he felt guilty about how her treated Mandy and after everything happened.

"Mandy..."
