It was moments like this where Mandy found a piece of tranquility in her life that set her to a challenge, a direction, but she should've been used to that. Her eyes glistened and open wide like saucers, but only so with wonder and peace, all had come to her now in her own world. There was no need for any other doll in her life at this rate. Her heart raced as she took a step towards the light, her body and mind being agitated and her heart ran the same pace as one would at an intense game of football or competition; too late to go back now, it was all so sudden.

As her heart and body came to a stop in agitation, her heart grew dark. Not in the way in which a heart turns cold and cannot feel anymore, but more or so that she feels that at some point the regrets she had in her past life would come at her together, all at once, and pang her in the spine. Suddenly her body felt stiff, it could've been from the darkened heart, but it was from the new form she took in this new world. Mandy, being the star student she was literally built to be, began to analyze her surroundings very subtly. But she turned her preferable vision back to the beautiful child in front of her that became her short-lived destiny. The scent was like honey, the smile of this child brought so much more love and hope into her heart she forgot it was darkened. She only longed for a moment like this, no one, but she could resist the feeling of love and purity to reform her old self.

"Is this for me, Mommy?" The little girl beamed her smile with precious as she was only getting the first tooth to grow. She had long hair, almost rose, but her hair was red, her skin was pale and rough. Her destiny happened to be out in the cold, one thing Many had to learn to stick to.

"Well, it certainly has your name on it, love." Her mother spoke, her tone and voice was so soft and made her seem so delicate. It seems as her heart is already pure from her perspective. But Mandy was a doll, what more did she know? Well, a lot actually.

"Oh, I love her, mommy! What's her name?!" The girl beamed once again. Mandy began to note how there were definitely some significant differences between the two girls. For one, Mandy could be less conceited but more selfless. She was quiet but had a lot of opinions. This girl does not seem afraid at all to voice her opinions. Her voice was so sweet and bright, but her tone could also be confident and headstrong. It told Mandy that this young girl had the potential to be a leader one day. That is if her own dark side doesn't take over like every other for insecurity. It was an enemy to all, Mandy knew all to well about insecurity and guilt. It seemed to be apart of her, which she didn't want.

"Why don't you look at the tag on her arm, Tanya?" Her mother spoke softly. So that was her name...

She began to notice her surroundings more as her body weight had been shifted to her side against the little girl's palm. She felt a warmth, one that people had an ability to control. Mandy felt more than one type of warmth, the fire didn't seem to overcome it either.

"It says-" The Tanya squints her eyes. Her pupils dilated, making her seem more innocent. "Mandy." She finished with a smile.

"Yeah, he totally forgot to text me back!" Tanya exclaims. Times changed so fast for a doll. It had only been a few weeks until Tanya had grown up too early. Mandy sat on the satin and silk bed. She knew her child was wealthy. She felt as if her child was secure. But the darkness in her heart grew back to her again. She knew that this was coming. She held in a sigh, trying not to blow her own cover. Mandy moved slightly, her head turning towards Tanya. The young girl she once knew was taller and became leaner, she definitely matured overtime as she hardly paid attention to Mandy. The light in her eyes began to diminish day by day. For the first time in a while, Mandy had begun to understand how Tanya felt.
