Warning: very long chapter ;)
Today was a new day, it could be seen as an amazing opportunity. To Lou? It was the most scariest and down right terrifying things he had done in all his life. He was brushing off anything on his new suit. Even though he believed it was one of the cleanest things he's laid eyes on, it was for good measure. He didn't want to return looking like he didn't want to try. Lou sighed as he looked at the mirror.
'Okay. New day, New beginning. I can do this.' Lou spoke to himself mentally. 'No I can't do this... What If they never forgive me? What if I give up?' Thoughts whirled in his head as his breathing picked up, which he managed to maintain by breathing deeply and slowly. He knew it wouldn't be the end, but he just didn't know what to expect - and that was the scary part.
Mandy made her way into the guest bedroom where Lou was getting himself ready. "Lou? You all good in here?" Mandy asked as she walked through the door, trying not to show any signs of her falling down from how appealing he looked. "Uh, well I feel unsure about this Mandy... What if this whole thing doesn't turn out well?" Lou asked, eyes showing pure sadness and worry. Mandy just walked up to the troubled prototype and did some finishing touches by straightening his tie or even brush his shoulders with her hands. She then turned his whole body to the mirror and stood behind him still with her hands on his shoulders. "Stop worrying. People will eventually learn that you are changing. And besides-" she then put her hands to his face and squeezed his cheeks in a playful manner. "-How could they say no to this face." She cooed in a parent like manner, clearly messing with him. "Ah! Quit it." Lou said as he nudged her hands of his face, hoping it didn't ruin his face.
"Don't worry Lou your face isn't ruined. It looks perfectly fine." Mandy reassured.
"Oh? And what is that supposed to mean?~" Lou flirted. Mandy decided instead of shrugging him off, she played along. "Well I don't know-" she then snakes her hands up his chest, making Lou stiffen seeing as his tease was backfiring. He blushed as she got closer "-what do you think it means~" Lou was speechless, she was really getting him good. Mandy noticed he was lost for words and only laughed, making Lou wake up from his trance and cross his arms in a childish manner. "Gotcha." Mandy said as she tapped Lou's nose making Lou annoyed that he got played. "Alright! I got it."
"But seriously though, you will be fine. I'll be with you there all the way." Mandy reassured as she continued to brush off anything on the top of his suit. Lou once again relaxed at her touch and weakly smiled. "Yeah... I hope so." Lou admitted. He said as he looked back into Mandy's eyes. Mandy just nodded in return at his statement and fully believed that he had everything under control. The only problem that they both knew was getting everyone's attention. And by that I mean try not to get them to annihilate Lou at first glance.
A knock on the door then appeared, both of them turned towards the door to reveal Ox standing there with his friendly smile on his face. Ox knew that Lou had the potential and capability to make everything better for him and the rest of the institution. But if he were to be honest, he was nervous about getting their attention as well.
"So, Are you ready Lou?" Ox asked with energy and happiness in his voice. Lou though was still unsure as to think that they might accept him. "Ready as I'll ever be." Lou sighed. "Alright, then follow me." Ox said before he turned his body to the door and walked out expecting Lou to walk behind. Mandy of course followed along to Lou's sake, which Lou secretly appreciated. "So how do you think this is going to work?" Lou asks Ox, hoping he'd have some sort of solution. "Well, today we will have a whole assembly. To catch up on the school and to also introduce you." Ox informed. Although it was very self-explanatory, to Lou his explanation was quite vague. Lou's hands started to fiddle as he walked more at a pace, hoping that if he just kept walking, he wouldn't think about it. Much to his dismay- it's all he could think about.
