"Why are you even sitting here? You already apologized at the library. Why'd you apologize again?"

"Because i never told Al I apologized the first time."

"Why not?"

"Because I'm stubborn. And he'd never believe I apologized willingly." I laughed at his answer, he just sighed. Seeming content he got me to laugh.

"What are you guys up to? Where are your parents? Do they approve of you being a dog of the military?"

Ed stiffened and then seemed to calm down. He sighed.

What did you just do?

"I'm sorry, should I have not asked that?"

Edward looked at Alphonse.

"Are you hungry?" Suddenly my stomach growled. I hadn't eaten anything all day. Ed softly laughed at my stomach talking. "I'll take that as a yes. Come on, let's go get some food." He stood up reaching out his hand at me. And I took it.

We went to a small restaurant, it wasn't very crowded so it was okay for me.

When we sat down, I actually ordered and began eating.

Ed began to explain everything. About his father leaving. About his mom dying. And about him and Al trying to bring her back.

I looked at Al in his iron body.

"I want to learn alchemy. But my dad won't let me," I huffed.

"Who's your dad?" I realized I had called Roy my dad. I had never done that even though I do consider him my dad.

"Roy, Roy Mustang," I said while looking out the window.

Edward stood up leaning over the table at me, "What?! Roy has a kid!"

"I'm not his birth kid. Riza and Roy have basically adopted me, but it's not under law yet."

"Oh," he said sitting back down, "Still that's crazy. How long?"

"About eight years." I looked back at Edward. He wanted an explanation. I guess since I got one from him he deserved one too. So I explained.

"That's so..ugh if I ever meet your parents I'm gonna.."

"Do nothing! It doesn't matter anymore. They don't care." I said slumping in my seat. I picked at my fries because I had finished my burger.

Ed, Al and I explained what they were doing and what they were looking for. Since I want to learn alchemy, at first Ed refused but Al persuaded him.

We stayed out till dark. Al pulled me aside and thanked me for hanging out with them, he said that it really helped Ed calm down and take a break.

Ed walked me to my apartment door while Al stayed down outside.

"Hey what are you doing tomorrow?"

"Nothing really, I kinda just planned on walking around Central all day."

"Do you want to come with me and Alphonse?"

"Alphonse and I," I corrected him laughing.

"Whatever," he rolled his eyes. "We're gonna go find this Freezing Alchemist. Colonel and the Füher wanted us to go hunt him down. He's a rouge state alchemist."

"Nice nice," I said with my arms crossed. I thought about wether to accept.

"I mean you're extremely smart. So I kinda just figured you'd be able to help us out with the planning and stuff. It's okay if you don't want to come." I looked up at him and he was looking away, his face was flustered. I turned away blushing.

"I'll go."
