13 WE ARE WHAT?

As we settle into my car, I can't help but think back to that kiss. I can still feel her lips against mine, and I can't help but smile, remembering how her lips felt against mine. Even now, just like when she kissed me, my heart is racing. I hear my girl, "HELLO NOAH. EARTH TO NOAH." I chuckle, "uhm sorry Shelly I spaced out." "It's ok. Do you think they are ready to tell us what is wrong with Lee." "Yes, Shelly." "Noah, uhmmm..." "What is it, baby?" I heard her sigh at; first, I thought she was annoyed, I called her baby, but I soon realize that is not the case. "Look Lee doesn't know I know, but a few days ago before you came home, I heard Lee talking to himself and muttering "I can't be crazy it is all in my head. That is the only explanation for the voice." "Ok, and what is wrong with that." "Well, the day you came home...I...uhm..." "Shelly you can tell me anything." "I started to hear a voice. Telling me what to do and well...does this mean what happened to Lee will happen to me."

I mind link Max "she is putting the pieces together. She overheard Lee talking out loud to his wolf." "Don't tell her anything, just get home." I look at Shelly, and she is looking at me expectantly. "I don't know Shells." "Is it that you don't know or is it one of those things you are not allowed to tell me." I take a deep breath, and I hear Yoda "don't lie to mate." I sigh, "it is one of those things I can't tell you." "Ok, please don't lie to me if you can't tell me just say so don't tell me you don't know." "Ok, Shelly, I promise." It didn't take us much longer to arrive home, and when we did, Lee was sitting on the couch, and he looked stunned. I couldn't help but smile, knowing my little brother had joined the pack.

Unfortunately, he was sitting next to Rebecca. "Lee, what the hell? What about Brenda?" Rebecca actually growled at Elle, and all she did was stare her down yelling "don't growl at me bitch. Brenda is Lee's girlfriend." She tries to attack Elle before Max yells, "ENOUGH SIT DOWN EVERYONE." As we all sit down, Elle looks at all of us "I am not sitting here while my Twin is doing to Brenda what Noah did to me. All this proves is that you are ok with cheating." I watch her get up to leave only to have Max stop her and point to a seat. Lee speaks up, "Twin; I am not with Rebecca right now. I need to talk to Brenda first." "Lee, this is not right." "You will understand everything once you hear what the rents have to say."

EPOV

I just sit there glaring at Lee after my dad made me sit down. I watch him walk into the center of us and take a deep breath.

Dad: First off Lee is not cheating on anyone. Secondly, how did everything go tonight?

Me: Good, I guess, but I know he is hiding something from me about Matilda.

Dad: Why do you say that?

Me: Simple he is too smart to sit there drinking any drink she gives him if it makes him black out. The first time I will give him since he trusted her but repeatedly...

Dad: Ok.

Me: So, what is going on?

Dad: First know that we did not keep this secret from you because we wanted to keep it from you. We didn't tell you because it was against our laws. Before you ask yes, we have to live by a separate set of laws from the rest of the population.

Me: Why?

Dad: OK, it has to do with everything that happened with Noah and well about the voice you heard in your head.

Me: OK

Dad: As for the voice in your head, know that no one told us. Mathew and I heard you telling Lee about the voice. Yes, it is perfectly normal we all have that voice; it is another part of you.

Me: What do you mean another part of me?

Dad: See, we are not what most people would call normal.
