The weeks leading up to spring break passed by quickly since Noah was home. I couldn't believe he was allowed to come home to help me with getting certain groups to agree to accept being united in the supernatural world and allowing humans to know of our existence. I was not looking forward to heading to Texas to talk to the Ruler of all demons who will become my Alpha of Demons. I was afraid they would be offended since if they agree I will outrank them. I knew there I might end up in a fight to prove myself worthy. I only hope it will not end in one of us losing our life. Luckily by this time I had received my first power and that was forsight. Now it didn't let me see the future just anticipate my aponets move.

As we headed down to our first meeting I couldn't help but snuggle into Noah's arms. It was strange we had to fly into Valley International airport in Harlingen, Texas then drive to Port Mansfield to meet the Ruler of Demons. I was reminded by Noah that the name of the leader of the Demons is Abigail so I guess it is Demon Queen. We found out the reason she was refered to as The Ruler of Demons was they didn't want a male from the other supernatural factions to try and take her crown. It took us about 45 minutes to drive to Port Mansfield from Harlingen. We ended up renting from Vic's rentals and stayed at 604 N. Shore. Since we had rented the place on-line we stopped off at the closest Walmart which happened to be in a small town called Los Fresnos. The guys bought fishing poles purchased their fishing licenses. They were going to buy bait but a guy told them that they could buy fresh bait there in Port Mansfield. We made sure to buy some groceries since doing our google search we noticed there were not many options to eat out. We mainly concentrated on breakfast foods since we planned on making the guys take us out or cooking the fish they caught if they caught any. As soon as we arrived at the house we had to stop the guys from running off to buy the bait so they could help us unload the cars. Once the cars were unloaded us girls picked our rooms and started unpacking everything we had bought.

When the guys returned they gave each of us a bag of corn and we looked at them funny. Noah laughed "turns out that this is a game preserve and they have wild deer that are actually pretty tame and they will approach you and you can feed them corn. Of course, we all giggled and took off to the location the guys described to look for deer. Although we didn't make it far since there were deer across the street from where we were staying. Of course, we all realized that there was a chance the deer would run from us since we were all werewolves with the exception of Rosalie so we were not sure if any of us besides her would get a chance to feed the deer. Boy were we wrong. All of us had a chance at feeding the deer and we couldn't help but sigh at how soft their coats were when we brushed our hands along their body. We all took turns taking pictures of each of us feeding the deer and after a couple of the bags were empty we all decided to go in and get dressed so we could make the guys take us all out to eat.

The good thing was we had two bathrooms so we didn't' take to long to get ourselves clean. Once we were all clean we called the boys in so they could shower. There was no way we were going anywhere with those jokers smelling like fish and bait. We ended up going to a place called Windjammer and ended up meeting a family that was staying there for the week. They talked to us about how much they loved visiting Port Mansfield. Turns out that they are from a small town called La Joya and live about two and a half hours away. This trip they were staying at 340 North Shore. Turns out that they had stayed in that location several times and had even stayed in our place once when the reservation was messed up.

As we got to know the family we found out that the two older individuals were named Celestino and Patrice Garza they were the parents of the older woman with them named Haruko Townsend. The two younger girls were Akiko and Fuyuko Townsend Haruko's daughters. The young girls talked about how they loved to fish and feed the deer and told how they are always asking to visit Port Mansfield even though they are unable to access the internet a lot of the time. It was hard for me to believe that the young girls were not obsessed with the internet. I would have expected them throwing tantrums that they were unable to access their on-line friends and games. We were also told more about this little nature preserve and how even they found it funny that you could fish in an area designated to protect animals. We had also found out when the guys brought up how the public pier was practically destroyed that it was remnants from Hurricane Harvey. We were informed that it was almost two years before all the houses were ready to be rented again between the remodeling that was needed from water and wind damage. Not to mention rebuilding all the piers. We had found out that the first time they came back after Hurricane Harvey there were only about ten piers that had been repaired and checked and deemed safe.
