40 NEW STUDENT

None of us were looking forward to our first day back to school after our week in Boston.  As usual, Lee picked me up we both were disappointed that Rebecca didn't transfer schools but she didn't want to leave her soccer team since she was co-captain there and was told that we didn't have a spot for her on our team at least not the A-team which she played on back at her school.  Plus her family couldn't afford Buckner prices.  As usual Lee slams on his breaks when he parks and Tuppen laughs "Little Flynn when are you ever going to stop slamming on the breaks."  "Never."  I laughed getting out of the car "the good thing is that when we go back to Boston the rents are getting me a reliable car since the car my dad bought me won't make it back and forth to Boston.  Only I will drive or Noah so no more whiplash when we park."  "That is hurtful Twin."  "Ah, is more poor Twin upset that I don't agree with his parking technique."  "Fine then why don't you drive."  "Why do I have to drive when I have you or Noah?"

I skip off and head into the building to my locker.  I noticed a guy a few lockers down I had never seen before and just shrugged my shoulders.  As I was putting my books in the locker he walked up to me "hey beautiful you new here I can show you around."  I started laughing and before I could answer I hear "Yo, Evans how was Boston?"  I turn "awesome Duncan.  Lee, Lewis, Rebecca, and I had a lot of fun with Noah, Justin, and Rosalie.  OH, and they all said hi."  "Nice, so how is Flynn doing in Boston."  "Great."  "Hey, I read that at Harvard you're assigned a student mentor.  So, did you get a guy or a girl."  I smirked "a guy."  "OOOOH, how did Flynn take his girl being escorted around by another guy."  "He loved it."  "Wait, what?  That is not the Flynn we all know and love."  I laughed "dork it was him.  I got to spend the whole day with him while he showed me Harvard.  Well, except when I was at the soccer field."  "Oh, on that note Coach Watson asked me to tell you when I saw you that if that girl wants to join the team she can if not there is another girl interested.  Turns out while you were gone Lowenstine's sister broke her ankle and is out for the season."   "Ok, I guess we will have to try the new girl.  Rebecca doesn't want to lose her co-captain spot. so she is not transferring.  Plus after we beat them last year I think she wants another shot at me."

All of a sudden we hear "hello I was talking to you."  I turn "Oh, sorry no I am not new here I was in Boston touring some colleges I had scholarship offers for.  Here at Buckner, if you have more than one school that has accepted you and you need to decide they allow you to take a week off to tour the schools to help you decide."  "Oh, So Duncan my man introduce me, man."  Duncan snorts and I smirk and take a big whiff and know that he is a were.  I mind link, Duncan.

Me:  Is he in our pack?

Duncan:  Yeah, you didn't know.

Me:  No the rents didn't mention a new family but then again we were too busy catching up.

Duncan:  Ah ok.

Me:  So how much does he know?

Duncan:  He only knows about your rents being in command.  The Alpha gave us orders not to tell them you are the future Alpha and that Lee is the Future Beta.  

I nod and mind link Lee 

Me:  Let Lewis know not to mention me being the future Alpha or you the future Beta there is a new family that joined our pack and the rents want us to keep quiet.

About that time we here

Max:  Lee, Elle do not tell the new pack members your connection to us yet they will meet you two at tonight's pack meeting.  As far as they are to know you are just members.

Lee and Me:  Yes, sir.

Duncan looks at me and starts to speak 

Duncan:  I take it you mind linked your twin.
