After finishing up telling everyone about my dream Noah grabbed me and pulled me close. "How are you feeling?" "Ok, I guess. I just don't know what I am going to do mom pretty much hinted I am in danger." "I know but she also said if we stick together and you trust your top commanders you will be safe." I looked around the table and saw the tears falling down everyone's faces. June turned and buried her head in Mathew's chest and started sobbing. Mathew held her close "shh baby Mary wants us all to be happy and know that she loves us all and is proud of what we all have done." My dad just smiled "I knew she would be happy even though she misses all of us. I promise baby girl I will live us to what your mom wants. I am glad you are taking your dream seriously. As Alpha dreams like the one you experienced are real it is the way the Moon Goddess lets us know that we are on the right path in her eyes and for her to warn us if there is a struggle ahead."

After talking to the family about my dream Noah and I went to our room and just cuddled up together. "You really need to relax Shelly how about we go for a ride to our spot." I giggled "we can't a week before you came into town some yahoos climbed up to the top of the Hollywood sign and knocked down the LL's and Y so it read Ho wood." Noah started laughing "Yeah, I heard about that but the good thing is I am good friends with the park manager's son." I smiled and nodded my head. It wasn't long after that we were heading to the Hollywood sign with a blanket under the seat and a picnic basket tied behind my butt. Once we arrived we walked down and spread out the blanket sitting down just enjoying the view. I loved this alone time with Noah knowing that no one could disturb us and we were able to just be Noah and Elle and not worry about me becoming the Queen.

We talked about our upcoming wedding and I could tell Noah was trying so hard to not bring something up that I finally lost it and asked: "what Noah and don't say nothing you are avoiding something." He looked at me and smiled "Ok this is something the rents and I have been talking about for a while. We would like for you to have a bodyguard when you are not with a high ranking official. Alpha Tristan mentioned his commander of his warriors has volunteered to take on this task. Even though he is several hundred years old he still looks like a teenager and is willing to enroll in Buckner and we will make sure he has all your classes. I know Lee is in all your classes but since he was not the next Beta he doesn't have the training I do plus he just shifted. Granted I would have been far behind if it wasn't for the fact I love football. So, we would like for you and Lee to befriend him hell Alpha Tristan mentioned that he is technically a distant cousin of yours so introduce him as such." I looked up at Noah and understood that he was not going to let this go and this was one of those things I needed to let him win on. Plus if the rents felt it was necessary I was not going to win no matter what and there was no point in taking it out on Noah. "Ok, babe I promise I will behave and accept that I need a guard at all times."

I saw him let out a breath and pull me into his arms "thank you Shells I would have hated to have to fight you on this or watch you get mad when the rents insisted on you having a guard. If it wasn't for the fact your top commanders are newly shifted we wouldn't have to worry about you so much at school but even Tuppen, Duncan and myself are not fully equipped to protect you. To be honest, right now there is someone here watching us since I am in danger as well." I giggled "so the big bad Noah Flynn is being babysat as well as the sweet innocent Elle Evans." He pulled me against him growling "you are not funny baby" before crashing his lips against mine. I loved the feeling of his lips against mine and couldn't help but to let out a little moan as he kissed down my neck sucking on my mating mark. Leaning in I sucked on his mark causing him to growl and pin me down "now stop that you little minx before I take you right here and then try to kill our guard for seeing what is mine." I couldn't help myself and rubbed my leg against his package "but what if I want a repeat of our first time." I watched his internal struggle as he pushed himself off me and shook his head a few times mumbling "picture Lee naked...picture Lee making out with Rebbecca. OK, I am good." He glared at me "you are terrible you know how gross it is to picture my little brother to calm down."

Throwing my head back laughing I started to empty the picnic basket of all the treats that June packed for us. We sat there enjoying our food until a gentleman walked up "ok Flynn time to go and thank you two for not being disrespectful teens and making me regret letting you guys up here. Know all you have to do now is call me and I will let you two up here to enjoy the view." We thanked the man and took off on the bike giving the guard our stuff since now I know he is following us around. Once we made it home my dad approached me "are you upset with us for sending Jake with you guys." "No dad I understand you all are worried about me and even though Noah can handle himself if I am there when an attack happens the chances of us both being hurt are higher because he will be too worried about me instead of doing what he needs to do to protect us both." "Thank you baby girl."

Since it was a Sunday we had our usual family dinner, this time at a beachside cafe, and I cleared my throat and asked if I could go for a walk alone with Bradley, of course, everyone said yes and I headed down the beach to have a talk with my little brother. I looked at Brad "Bradleybear I know you don't like the idea of dad dating since you feel he is betraying mom and you can not be sure that mom would want him to be with anyone else but her." "Exactly Elle I mean why does he have to let mom go." "Sweety he is not just letting her go it is really hard on him and he misses mom something awful but he needs to move on. Mom would want him too." "Are you sure about that Elle." "You know how I go visit mom when I feel as if I need help with a decision and I say she has helped me out by giving me a clue as to what I should do almost like she is right next to me." "Yeah, I sometimes feel as if she is helping me too." "Ok well, I had a dream of her telling me that she wants dad to move on and that she wants us to support him with whomever he decides to move on with." Brad nods at me "ok Elle I will try to be more supportive I just don't want dad's new girlfriend/wife to replace mom." "She never will replace mom. Dad knows that no one can replace mom. I am pretty sure dad will still be fine if we go to June with our problems instead of his new love interest." "Yeah, but the last one kept telling me to call her mom and that she will be the most important person in my life even more important than you." I laugh "that will not happen sweetie no matter what we will always be there for each other." "She told me once you married Noah you would never see me again."

I try my best to keep my wolf at bay and pick up my phone and pretend to text Noah knowing Brad is watching me and ask him to meet us down the beach. It didn't take him long to fined us and he looked a little concerned when he saw Brad in my arms crying. "What the hell is this about?" "Turns out that bitch cornered Brad before our dad broke up with her and told him that she will be the most important person in his life and that he needs to call her mom because she would be more important than me and that once we got married he would never see me again." I reach out and touch Noah's arm knowing his wolf is about to come out and calm him down so he can talk to Brad. He kneels down and lifts Brad's head up "little man that will not happen I will not keep Shelly from you. She is your big sister and other than my mom the only mother you have ever really known. Besides if I even tried to keep you two apart she would probably make me sing soprano for the rest of my life." I hear Brad chuckle "really Noah." "Yes, really Brad besides you are mine and Lee's little man how could we ever ignore and leave you. Sure we might leave for a little while for school but you can call, text or skype us as long as none of us are in class."

I watch Brad smile and throw his arms around Noah "Thanks, Noah." "Anytime little man." As the three of us walk back to the restaurant to meet up with the fam Noah mind links me "this feels so right. I keep imagining that we are walking with our own little one." I smile "not yet big boy we have a ways to go and we both know it would be better if we wait until after we unite the world before we bring a little one into the world. If we do before and there is a war our child would be a target." "I know but I can dream can't I." As soon as we make it back to the restaurant we explain why Noah needed to meet us and the rents become livid. My dad glares at Brad "no one will be more important to me than you two Brad. I will not let someone mistreat you two. Next time you need to let me know what my girlfriend is up to. Just so you know the only reason she didn't go after Shelly was that she knew that Shelly would put her in her place." "You better believe it."

After separating from my dad the rest of us met up with Tuppen and his mate and we all talked about the fact the woman thought she was going to be Luna. She didn't realize that if my dad had mated with her he had already decided to hand the pack over to me since I am the rightful heir. Plus it was a test to make sure she wasn't after the Luna title which now we know she was after. I will not let her get my pack in no way shape or form. My ancestors worked hard to build the pack to where it is today and there is no way in hell I am going to let one slut bring down generations of hard work.
