Chapter 6- the training

I am so sorry for the slow update, I hope you can forgive me. I hope you enjoy this chapter. again sorry for lack of character. 

Lumin's POV

I walked through the halls to the training room they showed me before. I knew this place a bit since sometimes the old paladins brought me here on the ship for a day every now and then. Talking about all this stuff got to me so I knew I had to exercise, train, fight, and stuff like that.

I went through the doors and to the weapon's holder. I got a large sword and made my way to the middle of the room. 'What level did I stop at the last time I visited? Hum...' I said in a small, almost incoherent whisper. "Ah, that one." I finally remembered. "Start raining level thirteen part ten!" I shouted to the room.

I felt the aura of the paladins and others going into the observation deck. With my powers, I heard what some said, "is she crazy! She's going to kill herself starting on that level!" Lance, I believe shouted. "We'll just have to see what she does, but if she gets too close to death's door I'll stop the training," Shiro said to the team.

Then the ten robots emerged from the floor. I got in my stance and watched the bots coming closer. Six robots came at me first. I swung my sword at them and instantly cut through them. Dead. I started running around the others and took two down when they got too close. The last two sprinted towards me. I jumped over their heads and cut their arms off. I swiftly turned around and sliced one of the heads off. That one disappeared back into the floor along with the other one that I split perfectly in half with my sword.

"I guess going to the arena helped improve my fighting skills." I went I bit higher for the levels since this was honestly a light warm-up. "Start training level seventeen part five!" I shouted at the room once more.

Shiro's POV - in the observation deck

'Wow,' that word was in everyone's mind. "No wonder she had a name in the ring. I heard about 'Dark Angel' from the other prisoners and the soldiers would talk about her too, but, I never imagined that she was already this strong." I spoke amazed from what I saw. Not even I could defeat a level one robot when he first got here. She just arrived and she's already the paladin of the purple lion, can get through the practical barriers to the lions', and defeated a level thirteen part ten robot effortlessly. That's something no one's seen.

She screamed another level this time it was closer to ours. Pidge's level was thirty-six. Keith's level was fifty-one. Lance's level was forty-two. My level was fifty-eight. And Hunk's level was thirty-nine. We started training two years ago and she just comes here and goes through the levels like its a warm-up.

Time skip- still Shiro's POV

We were just watching her train for at least an hour and she already made it two level forty-three. Hunk was in the kitchen cooking something and Coran was doing repairs, but, the rest of us were still watching. She slid across the room and killed the last robot. That's when I decided it was enough. "Stop training sequence!" I yelled. She looked at us then made her way over to put her sword away.

Lumin's POV- sorry for the constant POV switch.

As I was putting my sword away, then the doors to the training room opened. Everyone minus Coran and hunk were coming over to me. Lance then starts shouting stuff, "how are you that good!!! Even Shiro couldn't defeat level one the first day we were here!!! What are you hiding from us!!! What elt's can you do!!!" ok. I know I was in the arena and a lot of stuff was shouted at me then but, when its a person right in front of me, just yelling at my face, that's a big no. I was shaking. It just scares me when someone shouts right at me. I took a step back, nerves he was going to hurt me even though I could easily overpower him. "Lance shut up! You're scaring her!" pidge shouted at lance. He immediately stopped and looked at me. "I'm so sorry Lumin. I didn't know that would scare you." I took a deep breath and said it was ok.

Hunk came into the room after I said that. "Dinner's ready. Come on you better hurry before it gets cold," he told us and walked out. I grabbed a towel and wiped the sweat off my forehead and started walking down to the dining room with the others.

The food was already at the table when we arrived. I sat down and my cutlery appeared on the table. I was again shocked. I forgot how this place seemed so magical, even though it wasn't. "So, like, are you gonna tell us how you got to those level or...?" hunk started but I guess he thought he shouldn't or didn't know how to finish the sentence. "Ya how did you do that?" pidge spoke. "You past pidge, lance, and hunks level. We've been practising for two years and you just showed up and pass them like its a piece of cake!" "guys! Lets let Lumin speak to find out instead of continuously say facts and questions." Allura quieted them down for me to answer.

"Well, when the old paladins visited me they would let me in the castle to watch them practice. One day I wanted to fight a robot like them so they set me up on the easiest level, and I worked my way up from there. I got to level thirteen part ten the last time I was here. I was nine at the time. Also, the years in the ring helped me gang fighting combat skills. The level I started out on was like a light warm-up from what real fighting is like to me." I answered the questions of the paladins and they stopped for a second.

"So you're saying you've been in the castle before Lumin?" Shiro asked. "Yes." a nice short and simple reply I gave. It was silent and awkward. I didn't like this so I started eating dinner.

Shiro spoke to me to end the silence. "So Lumin, do you think tomorrow you can start to pilot and train with the purple lion?" it was quiet for another second but I replied. "Yes. I will be training with the purple lion tomorrow." Keith somehow finished his food goo first. "Well, I'm going to sleep now, see ya at training tomorrow," Keith said as he walked out. Then pidge finished. After that lance, hunk, Allura, Coran, and then I finished. Shiro was the last one to finish. I brought my plate to the sink and made my way to my room. When I got there I took a quick shower and hopped into bed.
