Of course Baekho didn't know about that. He may look and sound alike but he didn't have the other's memories or feelings. Even though he felt something towards this Minhyun, it was only because he had Minhyun's face.
"I don't know," Baekho replied honestly. "Do you like him?" Minhyun blinked and ended up laughing.
"Me? Like Baekho? Over my dead body. He's too rough, always getting into trouble and..." Minhyun lowered his gaze and a weird forlorn expression graced his face.
"He listens to you, protects you and always hang out with you," JR continued and gave Minhyun who sighed a pat on the back. "Look... uh... can't I call you something else? It's confusing to call you Baekho too." Baekho felt like giving Minhyun a hug but he didn't want to make things more awkward.
"Oh. You can call me Dongho then."
"Right, Dongho. You even share the same real names. So let's say we buy the fact that you are indeed Baekho but of a different universe. What exactly are you doing in ours then?"
"I'm finding for the Baekho who kidnapped my Minhyun!" Baekho replied. Minhyun looked at Baekho and then at JR who shared a confused expression.
"Is that even possible?" JR asked, finding it difficult to believe. "Then why did you come here? I doubt our era has any tech that allows universe travelling."
"You don't?"
"Not that we know of," Minhyun replied with a half hearted smile. "I don't think we can be of any help to you."
"I see... Well, thank you then. I should get going. Can't have Minhyun waiting for me." He grinned and was about to exit when he felt a hand grab his arm.
"Wait. Uh... could you help me find Baekho?" Minhyun asked to both JR'S and Baekho's surprise.
"Uh... sure?" Baekho replied, unable to reject the request from Minhyun's lookalike. Minhyun smiled brightly and hooked an arm around his, making Baekho blush. Minhyun started dragging him out and JR stayed back in the classroom since Aron and Ren just entered through the other door.
"Was that Minhyun holding Baekho's arm? Since when did they get so close?" Ren asked while hopping onto JR who just laughed it off, too lazy to explain anything.
Baekho felt awkward when there were other people in the same blazer looking at the two walking down the corridor. He glanced at Minhyun, half wishing that it was his own Minhyun instead but knew that it wasn't.
"You... really love Minhyun?" Minhyun asked and Baekho nodded.
"I do. More than anything else," he replied sadly.
"What is your Minhyun like? Does he always argue with you?"
"No. He's very nice and sweet. And caring but he gets sick easily. He likes to tease me but he never push me past my limits or at least he tries not to," Baekho replied, smiling at the thought of Minhyun. It made him warm and fuzzy inside.
"Wish I could be like that to Baekho," Minhyun mumbled.
"You could! I'm sure Baekho likes you too... Maybe, I don't know." Minhyun let out a soft chuckle.
"I wasn't kidding when I said you were cuter though. I don't know if Baekho likes me back... he's very protective about the way he feels." Baekho knew how that felt but he couldn't exactly speak on this universe's Baekho's behalf so he just nodded. They entered a courtyard and Baekho glanced back, reading the name of the building that was surprisingly in a language he understood. It was a school. That explained the blazers. He turned back when Minhyun stopped walking. He noticed the other Baekho laying on the grass under a tree and nudged Minhyun.
"I don't know how that Baekho feels but good luck with your feelings. It'll feel wonderful if it's reciprocated," Baekho said and smiled. Minhyun slowly let go of Baekho's arm and nodded.
"You're right. Well... good luck finding for your Minhyun too. Sorry we couldn't be of much help. Bye..."
"Oh no. You've helped me plenty... I think? Good bye." Baekho waved and Minhyun waved too, walking towards the other Baekho. He watched the other bent down and poked the other Baekho's cheek. He smiled and turned away, leaving them alone. He should probably get moving but couldn't help giving Minhyun one final glance before hurrying away. He wished he could find Minhyun faster but he didn't know how to except to keep going. He lifted the bracelet and recalled what Aron and JR of his universe had drilled into his head.
He tweaked the bracelet, hoping he was doing it right and clicked the button that turned red. A light engulfed him and he was back again in the pool of light. He walked ahead, thinking about Minhyun all the while. He wondered if the other worlds' Minhyun and Baekho all liked each other somehow. That thought made him laugh. He felt as though it was destiny if that was the case. To always end up with Minhyun in the end.
He was slowly starting to get the feel of the light when it faded around him. He was confused as to where he ended up. It was a rather dark area but lights suddenly turned on and screams echoed the entire area. He had to cover his ears. There were light sticks swinging in the air and a stage right below it all. Music started playing in the air too. He was confused, having never seen something like this before. He quickly moved away from the noise and sea of light, accidentally bumping into someone.
"Sorry," he quickly said but froze when he saw a rather muscular man who looked down at him.
"Baekho? What are you doing here? You should be backstage by now," the man said and started leading him by the arm. Baekho yelped cluelessly and let himself get dragged away. At least they were out of wherever that was. He was brought to a room and left there. He looked around the room. Mirrors, weird looking objects and flashy outfits filled the room. He took a seat on what he guessed was a chair and waited patiently.
