I shrug off what just happened, and we all go downstairs to greet the guests. The ball had officially started. I wander around until i notice my mother.

Walking over to her, she rambles. "Amethyst, how are you feeling, honey? Especially with everything that is going on. If you want to move back home-"

"-Mom, im ok with it all. Honestly. Im a part of this craziness now. Im fine." I cur her off reassuring her. "Have you spoken to Tyler?" I ask.

"No, not yet. He will come back soon." She says with a small smile and walks away.

I walk around and past all of people until i get to the bar. I ordered a glass of vodka and orange juice. I sip it, and then i start to wander around again.

I find Caroline, and we start to talk until i feel a warm hand on the bottom of my back. I look to my side to see Nik. With a big genuine smile on his face, he says, "im sorry to cut in, but i need to borrow Thyst."

Caroline nods, and Nik leads me to the grand staircase. I stand next to Rebekah. I feel so empowering up hear, its nice. Elijah gathers everyone's attention and says a small speech about family, and then he informs everyone that the dance of the evening would be a waltz. When he finishes everyone seperates.

I go to leave, but Nik and Rebekah have one of my wrists each. They led me to a room, Elijah was following us. They close to doors behind us.

With a confused expression on my face, i finally say "ok whats going on?"

The three of them exchange glances before Nik walks over and gets an envelope. Walking back over nervously, he hands it to me.

Ok, this is making me nervous, Nik doesn't get scared or nervous. Looking at Rebekah, she gestures for me to continue, and she says exitingly, "Come on."

I open it.

It is a few sheets of paper.

"Ok, now you need to read out what it says." Rebekah says happily.

"Ok.
To whom this may concern, this is a legal document that says the name 'Amethyst Emilia Lockwood' has officially changed her name to..." tears form in my eyes, and i look up to see them all in the same state as i am in. I put down the documents and rush over to the three of them, and wrap my arms around all three of them.

I try my best not to cry when i pull away at see the three of them doing the same. "Thank you. But what is it for, what's the reason?" I says, calming down.

"As soon as Rebekah woke up, the first thing she wanted to know was the date, and i knew why. And you haven't had a decent precent or birthday celebration, so we thought of this. If you would like to have the honours of being in this family." Nik says sweetly.

"I would love to." I say, running over to him and hugging him. Instantly, we all end up in a group huddle.

The four of us break away and go downstairs to get a partner to dance with.

We get down there, and the three of them go to the ballroom and dance. I decided to go and get another drink.

The night has passed, and im speaking with Stephan, who is watching Damon's dead body.

"How are you doing, Thyst?" He asks.

"Im ok. What about you. I've seen how you have been around Elana. You still have feelings for her. Don't you?" I say to him, knowing the answer.

Damon slowly wakes up, getting up he vamp speeds and pins Stephan against a wall.

Suddenly, i feel lightheaded, and everything starts to spin. I feel how i felt earlier. I am able to wisper "Stefan."Before my knees buckle and my weak body falls to the floor.

Im laying on the floor, and Stefan is in now next to me. He lifts me, so my head is resting on his knees. "Thyst, hey, come on. Stay with me." He says, panicking.

I feel my body get more tyred. I notice Damon leave, but Stefan stays with me. Suddenly, i feel my energy slowly coming back. Slowly standing up, i lean on the table in the study for support. "It's ok, Stefan, honestly. Go and make sure Elana is ok and that Damon doesn't do anything stupid."

Knowing i would not stop pushing him away, he reluctantly leaves. A sigh excapes my mouth until i feel a presence by the door.

Turning my attention to see who it is, fear and panic spread through my body. She comes in, closing the doors behind her and says, "i need to do something, if you dont mind."

Before i can object, i feel like i have lost all conrtole over my whole body. After blinking for a split second, i notice I'm now on the floor. Easter forces my mouth open and poirs a pink champagne liquid down my throught.

Harshly forcing her hand on my mouth to make me swallow the liquid. I finally give in and do. She strokes the side of my face and then leaves. I just lay there, and i become dizzy again.

I hear a girl voice call out from next to me. Moments later, i feel two strong arms lift me up, and then i fall out of consciousness

I wake up, but im still feeling weak. I'm looking around and seeing that i am all alone. I look at what im wearing to see. im in my dress still. I get up and get changed. I put on a sports bra and a pair of leggings.

Making my way downstairs, i go into the living room to see Nik on the couch drawing and Kol looking bord.

I went to the couch and lay down with my head on Nik's leg, since one was crossed on the other and he was balancing his sketch pad on the top of the leather couch. "Are you ok?" Nik asks sensitively, looking down at me.

"Yeh, i just dont know what was going on. It feels like all my energy was being drained. It doesn't matter because it has stopped now." I tell him.

And as if on cue, Rebekah walks in with messy hair and her dress from last night on. They start to talk, but i don't really listen.

"Thyst, would you like to come along." Nik asks.

"I think i am going to stay home today. Thank you anyway." I say.

"Ok, your loss."kol says, bouncing out of the room with Nik following behind. Leaving me on the couch alone.

I hear Elijah and Rebekah talking, and i get up to join them, but by the time i got there, Rebekah left.

"Elijah, i believe you." I say, catching his attention.

"Amethyst, what's wrong. What do you know?" He questions me.

"In the last day or so, i have been growing weak and passing out." I say, looking down."It all started when Easter put a spell on me. I don't know what it is..."

I look up to meat Elijah's shocked expression. "I think I do! I will sort all of this out. I promise." He says to me before vamp speeding out of the house.

As he does, I go to take a step up to staircase when all of a sudden, i feel a horrible pain in my head. And im sourounded by darkness.
