Your pov.
I woke up to the smell of burnt food. I jumped out of bed, rushing out of my room to the kitchen. My eyes grew bigger as I look over at Jungkook trying to fry some fried rice. "Hey, good morning." He said while frantically turning off the gas. He then scoop out the black, burnt, hard pile of rice that had sticked together. "Sorry, I tried to cook breakfast for you as a thank you for letting me stayover but... looks like it isn't really edible.." He said while scratching his nape. I giggled at his cuteness.
"Its fine. I'll cook instead. You're the guest, sit. My aunt actually left some kimchi in my fridge. I'll cook stir fried kimchi rice and can pair it with ice choco." I shake my brows while smiling. He gave me a wide beam back. "Wait. But you should go and wash up first."
"Ah! Y-Yea I should!" I rush into the toilet as I slapped myself lightly. I totally forgotten that I hadn't wash up. I look at myself in the mirror. "Ah!! Look at your face (y/n)! Gosh how could you meet him looking like this!" I then shook my head and quickly wash up. Then, head out to the kitchen.
"Aren't you going to dry your hair?"
"I don't blowdry my hair in the morning. Don't you know? Blow drying your hair too much will damage your hair." I explained then continued. Suddenly, I felt a towel lay on my head then a massage. I turn around quickly and step a step away while looking at him, shocked.
"J-Jungkook..what are you doing?" He pulls me by the arm and turns me around, my back facing him again.
"I used to help my sister dry her hair so I know what I'm doing, trust me."
"B-But I..I can do it myself.." I said softly, feeling my cheeks burn but he probably didn't hear me.
"Your hair was dripping wet. Even if you didn't want to use the blow dryer to dry your hair, at least dry it a little with the towel." His voice was gentle and soothing as he dry my hair with the towel. Once he was done, he let go his hands off my head and turns me around to face him. "Done!" He gave me a smile with his bunny teeth showing. I giggled and smiled, "Thanks."
I then wore an apron and got ready to cook. I went to the fridge to grab the kimchi my aunt left me and was about to put the rice grains inside the rice cooker but I realize it already had rice inside. "Oh?"
"I cooked rice while you were showering. I mean I may not be a good cook but at least I can cook simple things like rice." He said while scratching the back of his neck. I laughed at his cuteness and nodded.
"Well done." I complimented him while scooping the rice into the frying pan, together with the kimchi. I started frying them together. I sniff in the sour and spicy smell of stir fried kimchi rice. Once it was cooked, I transfer it to two bowls and lay it on the table. "Jungkook ah, I'm done cooking." Then, I look as he walk back inside from the balcony, he held his phone out.
"Sorry (y/n), my members and manager are calling me to come back urgently. I have to go.."
"Oh! Its okay! Don't mind this. I can actually eat two servings haha.. I eat a lot!" I said while giving him an assuring smile but he still looks at me in concern and apologetically.
"I promise I'll treat you to a meal next time. I'm really sorry about this time..."
"Its okay, go do your thing." I assured him once more as he gave me a smile.
"Thanks (y/n), for your understanding." He wore his shoes and went out, closing the door. I sighed and sat down, stuffing my food into my mouth. I was so excited for nothing... Guess I'm just biting off more than what I can chew.. I mean, what did I expect? He's an idol.. Its not like he's my boyfriend. I can't expect him to make time for me. Even so, I'm his friend right? But still... UGH (y/n) WAKE UP!
