( Cali strolls to the medic bay. She seems a bit dizzy and struggles to get there. She drops to her knees)
Cali:(whispers) Stop....stop....
( Bruce catches up to her)
Bruce: Cali are you alright?! ( Runs to her and helps her up)
Cali: ( Not wanting to reveal the truth) I'm fine...I think....
( Tony hears shouting so him and Natasha run round the corner to see them)
Tony: Cali! ( Runs and takes her to medic bay)
( Inside medic bay)
Natasha: Cali you need to tell us everything that has happened to you since your death thing.
( Bruce and Tony set up the bed and equipment)
Cali: In the simplest words possible, There was this mist thing, i touched it , it went inside me and made my powers stronger and I can shield people...I think.
(Natasha huffs Then looks at Cali's eyes)
Natasha: Your eyes are red.
Cali: Are They?
( Natasha hands her a mirror)
Cali: The hell? ( Whispers) Please don't tell Tony or the others about this but...I can hear voices and it's driving me insane....
Natasha: ( raises her eyebrows in surprise) and what does it say?
Cali: Different things... like 'kill them all' 'they're worthless' ' they don't care about you' ....
Natasha: You don't believe it , right?
Cali: ( shocked) No of course not!
Natasha:(laughs) only messing.
( Tony and Bruce come over)
Bruce: Okay girlies, we're gonna have to break up your conversation here. Cali can you lie on the bed and Tony will hook you up to the monitors.
Cali: Okay ( Walks over and lies down)
( Tony begins to hook her up. He puts a white clip on her finger which reads her energy signatures)
Tony: How are you feeling? ( Smiles)
Cali: Fine. ( she smiles back)
( He puts a heart monitor on her and Bruce turns it on)
Bruce: Oh my god....
( Bruce rubs his chin)
Natasha: That can't be right.
( Tony walks over , panicky)
Cali: What can't be right?
Tony: What?
( They look at the monitor and it shows that Cali's powers, instead of being equal with Wanda and Thor's power capability, has literally flown off the chart)
Natasha:(looks at Cali) Is this because of the mist?
( Cali thinks for a moment then looks at her)
Cali: I think....
Tony: Jeez, whats wrong with her pulse?
( They look at the heart monitor and the beat is a little faster than normal)
Bruce: Her body is going crazy.
Natasha: ( touches Cali) Ow! ( pulls back) You can't even touch her anymore.
( Bruce thinks)
Bruce: Tony does the memory machine still work?
Tony:(confused) It should do, why?
(Bruce walks over to the machine and powers it up)
Natasha: Bruce?
Bruce: I need to tie Cali in the machine, have a look at her memories of when the mist entered her and see if FRIDAY can identify it.
Tony: Okay, it's safe though?
( Natasha runs a safety check)
Natasha: Yep. ( thumbs up)
Tony: Alright FRIDAY, when the mist appears, identify it.
FRIDAY: Yes,boss.
( Tony takes the clip off Cali's finger and removes the heart monitor. She stands and stretches before walking over to the machine and standing in it. Tony ties the wrist cuffs whilst Natasha ties the feet cuffs)
Bruce:( at the monitors) Okay, you're ready to go!
( They give her a thumbs up and she sighs deeply and closes her eyes. They huddle around the screen as Bruce plays back her memories. Tony glances at Cali, who has a source of energy flowing through her temples)
Natasha:(Points at screen) I think this is it.
( They watch as Cali touches the mist and Bruce stops the memory so FRIDAY can run a scan on it)
FRIDAY: Scan completes,Boss. I'm now running a diagnostics report.
Tony:Alright thanks FRIDAY. Ok Cali let's get you down.
( He unfastens her but she drops to the floor)
Tony: Cali! ( He touches the side of her face)
( Natasha and Bruce come over)
Natasha: Cali...
( Cali rocks back and forth, muttering words)
Natasha: Cali, ignore it, don't let it overtake you...
Cali: Get back...I don't wanna hurt you.
Tony: you're not ( Slowly lifts arm to touch her) It's gonna be fine....
Cali: I said....don't come near me!
( She spreads her arms out and scrunches her face. Her powers burn the medic bay however the Avengers remain untouched)
Bruce: The hell?
Natasha: It's the shield power, it protected us....
( Cali breaks down)
Tony: It's ok, we're gonna get you through this.... ( kisses forehead) Lets go back to the main room,If you want?
Cali: I want to.
( The four avengers get up and walk to the main room)
Bruce: Oh dear.... ( looks at medic bay and walks out)
