Chapter 11

Lucie's POV:
I felt groggy as I woke up, when I tried to open my eyes, I realized a bag on my head. I tried to move only to find that my arms and legs were bound to a chair, when I heard chains I realized that whoever did this had it planned out carefully. The last thing I remembered was Nick asking me to get into the house. Wait, Nick seemed to be acting different. Even when I get home he wouldn't come and greet me like normal, then there was the outbursts that Eric mentioned when we were in the bedroom at night. But if this really is Nick's doing, then where is my husband?

I decided to do something risky, I called out gently, "Hello...?"

The bag on my head was ripped off, after hearing a chuckle, there was Nick with a spine chilling smile on his face....

Nick POV:
When I heard my so called mom gently call out, "Hello...?"

I chuckled before yanking off the bag on her head, smiling to the point that it almost hurt.... Almost.

I made sure Lucie couldn't see Eric. He was behind the bright light that was facing her. "Wakey wakey Lucie...."

Lucie looked at me shocked, "Nick? Why are you doing this? We have you everything you could ask for.... So why did you plan this?"

I looked at her, Vyn was trying to keep me in check and not to kill her instantly.

I hissed, "Lies! You gave me everything that a normal kid would have wanted. Except you didn't give me what I truly needed."

Lucie tried to speak, "We gave you a home! A fam-"

I yelled, "DON'T YOU DARE!" I composed myself, "You tell me lies, then deny me the truth. You tell me false reasons that my real parents are never coming back. Then you have the nerve to deny the honest response when I ask for it. So I decided to make a little game up to get you and dear old Eric to talk about the so called 'forbidden secret' of my parents..."

Lucie's eyes widened, "How did you figure out that there was a secret!?"

My smile widened to the point of hurting my cheeks, taking a step to the side and pointing the light behind me, earning a gasp of shock from Lucie. I ruffed up Eric a bit to get a little bit out of him. He had bruises all over his face, making one of his eyes closed and blood coming out of his nose, as well as split lips....

Lucie called out, begining to panic, "Eric! Eric look at me, please don't be dead!"

I hushed her, "Don't worry, if I killed him there wouldn't be a game.... no game without him..."

Vyn laughed at how mercilessly I've become. Lucie growled, "You're a monster, how could you do this to us, didn't we destroy any trace of your family?"

I let Vyn make his appearance, shifting to my demonic form. Vyn calmly stated, "Not all traces, you didn't factor that they succeeded in completing the deal with me. Now I am in Nick's body. He's my host you could say... However, you killed his parents for trying to summon and seal me. Tried to stop them from making their legacy eternal. Now that he has awakened me it's time for him to learn...."

Luna POV:
I was in the shadows of the basement's rafters, wondering what Nick was going to do. I noticed that Vyn was in control.

Then I heard him, "You may come down here, after all you helped me...."

I didn't think that he was talking to me, I mean I was invisible and hadn't made any noise.... Right?

Vyn then counters my unasked question, "I can hear your mortal body's heartbeat..."

I dropped down, asking, "How did I help you? All I did was stalk your host since he was young..."

He turned back into Nick, who answered, "You made me rely on my internal beings in order to understand that I was being followed. The problem being Vyn was imprisoned by Chris. Now Chris is reluctantly sided with me and Vyn. Now, cover here Luna."

I was hesitant at first, but stepped forward all the same. He rushed at me. I closed my eyes, expecting to be hit. Instead I felt something touching my lips. I opened my eyes to see Nick... Kissing me. My eyes grew wide, I began questioning the reality of what was going on.

I heard Nick squeak, speaking in his usual close-to-girl-shyness voice, "I wanted to do that since you since we openly met... "

I smiled before I held his hand, saying, "Don't worry, I'll help you find the truth.... Even if it means torturing the spirits of the dead."

Lucie looked at me, "You're the girl that asked about Nick. You asked why he seemed hated... What are you?"

Vyn spoke before I could, "She is daughter of the king of the Demon Realm, Princess Luna."

Lucie glared at me, "You scum! You helped free this Vyn demon, I ought to have you ki-"

Nick backhanded her before she could finish, "Don't insult the only person that is keeping you alive. After all, if she wasn't here, the game would have already begun and you'd already be dead...."

I looked at him confused, "What do you mean?"

Nick POV:
I turned to face her, I lifted my hand and caressed her left cheek, it was as soft as the flower that is normally in her hair.

I asked, "Does your father know of me and Vyn? If so, did you mean what you said?"

Luna looked deep into my eyes before kissing me again, nuzzling into my neck, "Of course. I am yours, just as you are mine...."

Lucie spat, "Get away from him devil, I'll rip you limb from limb for what you've done!-"

I smacked her hard, using Vyn's demonic voice, "SILENCE!"

I turned back to Luna, "Does the Demon King approve of our relationship?"

Luna snuggled into my chest, looking up at me, "Yes, he does. And he's waiting for the future king...."

I looked at Lucie, Vyn drew his demonic dagger.

I smiled, "Let the games begin...."

I cut them both free, "Prepare yourselves, for where you're going. There is no escape...."

I kissed Luna's neck and asked her, "Let's go into the Demon Realm, and let's bring these two with us for.... Entertainment."

Before they could speak, Luna opened two portals. I threw them in one while we went into the other...
