Chapter 12

Nick POV:
When I entered the gateway I was greeted by the dog I saw in my dream from what felt so long ago. It seemed happy to see Luna and jumped to her. When, I'm guessing it is a he, he saw me he walked up to me. I raised my hand and let it sniff, after sniffing my hand he started licking my hand and yipping like an adorable puppy.

Luna giggled, "Down Ax, down boy!"

I knelt down and pet Ax's head, speaking to the demonic puppy, "Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?"

Ax barked again, licking my face. I heard a chuckle coming from the room adjacent to us.

I heard a male voice, "Luna Bunny, did you bring my future son-in-law?"

I saw Luna blush, seeming to be embarrassed, "Daaaad. I thought I told you, wait until you at least see him. Besides, don't call me that. It's embarrassing!"

I raised an eyebrow, "Luna Bunny? How did you get that nickname?"

Luna just said, "I went through... A phase...."

I was about to question again, when I saw a man walk through the door. He wore a crown made of blood-red gold, a robe that covered most of his body, his hands was covered with black gloves, as well as black boots. His hair was white, I'm guessing with age, and his eyes were gray. He carried a strange sphere that had multiple skull indention that was dark red in color.

I asked, "Who are you? I mean, are you Luna's dad?"

The man nodded, "Why yes I am Luna's dad, Demon King Rath. But please, call me Rath."

I bowed, "Hello Rath. I am Nicholas Shawn Chidister, but please call me Nick. I have to ask..."

Rath nodded, "Yes?"

I gulped, "Were you the one that brought me here in a dream, telling me that not many survive it?"

Rath nodded, "I did, I wanted to test your reaction to this realm. And you didn't disappoint, you stayed calm until I told Ax to sic you."

Luna looked at Rath, "Dad! You told me you wouldn't interfere!"

Rath scratched the back of his head, "True, But I don't want my heir to be weak. He needs to be strong, and if he indeed is the host for Vyn, then he is truly strong."

I was shocked, "How do you know about that?"

Luna simply stated, "I told him about the first time the seal was broken."

I heard Vyn, "I was the greatest commander of the demonic armies during the time of one of Rath's ancestors. If I remember right it was Helnet the Warlord."

I decided to ask, "Did Vyn serve under Helnet the Warlord?"

Rath nodded, "I'm going to guess that Vyn told you that, for there is no records of that time, almost all was destroyed by the warriors of light. And they call themselves angels. They destroy anything that isn't exactly like them, or things that can't be like them. They are always scared that we will become during enough to challenge their greatest warrior. I suppose that they're right, a single demon can't."

I felt Vyn take control and speak, "You're correct, Rath. No lone demon can challenge the Great Divine.... But I am not a lone demon, I am paired with a human, sure emotions can blind the human mind, bit everything will work out. I give you my word, I will rip Great Divine's head from his shoulders and lay them at your feet. You may be a king, but even kings need help at times. Train my host, with the minds of both king and Great Shadow guiding him, he will be both of our successors. What say you?"

Rath thought for a moment, "His training will begin after the end of those that tried to hide his potential from him. The humans that dared to call him son...."

I nodded and followed Luna to a hallway. When we were out of earshot, Luna wrapped her arms around me and kissed me very passionately. She licked my bottom lip, asking politely for entrance in my mouth. I decided that I would play with they and denied it. She tried biting the lip to open it. Instead I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me, wanting nothing to be between us.

Yet I still denied hey entrance to my mouth. She became impatient and trailed her finger down my chest, until reaching my pants. When I gasped at the thought of what she was going to do, she took the opening and stuck hey tongue in and explored the cavern. When we both needed air, she pulled back, a string of saliva connecting our mouths together.

In a bold moment, I began trailing kisses along her neck. When I reached the collarbone, I have a little bite and left a deep purple hickey at the base of her neck.

She moaned in pleasure, causing me to somehow pull her even closer than I already was. She opened the door that we were leaning on, revealing a room that was covered in the color red. Soon we found ourselves on the bed in the center of the room. Kissing and leaving love bites and hickeys on each other. As we how the bed, we cuddled through the night. Exhausted from dealing with the Mortal Realm.

Right before I feel asleep, I whispered in Luna's ear, "I love you Luna, with my very soul...."
