Chapter 7

Nick POV:
I was walking with Luna to her house, I could tell that she was happy about this. I knew I was, I was finally going to a friend's house. She seemed to cling to me as is I was the only thing keeping her alive, I wondered why. However, for some reason I felt more relaxed around Luna, it's hard to explain. But I also began to noticed that she seemed to be getting closer to me.

While walking, I heard Chris, "Be careful Nick. I don't want to see you get hurt."

I spoke to him quietly, "Shut up, you don't know anything, Chris..."

I noticed that the house we were going to was on the same mountain as me. Guess I was right, Luna lives in the other house. After about a minute or two of walking, we made it to her house. When the door was closed, she hugged me tightly. This made me fall onto the couch, my arms instinctively wrapped around Luna to keep her safe.

She seemed to realized what I did and spoke to me, "You know, you've been gone a while..."

I looked at her, completely confused, "What do you mean? What time is?"

She looked at me, almost as if she wasn't surprised, "It's Sunday night. I starting to wonder, should we keep this a secret?"

The sinister voice started talking, "You know, it would be a nice change to mess with Evan. I would gladly see how that pans out. It could be fun...."

Chris countered, "Or it could end horribly with him getting hurt, or worse killed."

I looked at Luna, "Let's make it public, it would be nice to have someone to care for. I mean, you are currently the only thing I have to live for."

She smiled and kissed me, I felt her tongue trying to enter my mouth. I denied her the request, she looked at me surprised.

I responded to the unasked question, "Let's take it slow, I mean, we need to be sure that this is going to work, right?"

She nodded, curling into a ball on my chest, "I understand, we are both virgins. So, naturally, we would want the first to be with the one... Well, I'll wake you up some time before school."

I was about to ask about clothes when Luna said, "Don't worry, I already sneaked into your house to get some clothes for you."

Chris suddenly asked, "Wait, when and why the hell did she do that?"

Luna then laid her head on my chest, wrapping her arms around my body. As I fell asleep, I couldn't help but think that I felt something wrap around my leg. I decided to ignore it and fell deeper into sleep....

Luna POV:
I felt his chest rise and fall at a steady pace, I looked at his sleeping face, he looked so adorable. I wish I could take him now, but I don't know what kind of spirit is within him. I have got to find that out tomorrow. I'm sure that Evan will come in handy to do that...

Nick POV:
[Dream World]
I was standing in that room again, looking into the mirror. The thing that stood before me still had my face, it also had a ring on this time. I looked at it in shock, this couldn't be me. I don't think I could marry anyone, because no one would want to marry me. The figure shook his head as if saying I was wrong. He then went and lifted his hand, as if holding someone else, then I saw something that confused me beyond reason. Something that looked like Luna stepped out of the shadow. She had Luna's features, but she had wings that were the same color of blood, she also had a midnight black tail, and to top it off she had a crown as well. Hers was made of silver metal work red jewels....

[Living Realm]
I woke up to Luna shaking me by my shoulders.

When she noticed I was up, she smiled, "Finally, you're awake sleepyhead. I've been trying to get you up since 5 o'clock.... You're a heavy sleeper."

I responded with a yawn, "Not normally, normally I wake up to a creak in my room. Although I never figured out what caused the creak...."

Luna seemed to fidget a little, I hugged her while stroking her hair. This seemed to calm her down a lot, she even leaned into my chest. I've never felt this much compassion towards me ever. It's like it was meant to be....

Luna then broke the exchange, "We really need to get to school, we don't want to be late."

I nodded and found the clothes that Luna got out of my room. I found myself thinking that it was a bit creepy that she did that. But she did have a lot of my clothes, all of my dark colors and none of the bright ones that I didn't like....

Chris commented, "It's almost as if she knew we were going to come here, and that we hated bright colors...."

I shrugged it off as I put on a dark blue tank top, followed by a gray hoodie, then a pair of dark blue jeans. When I got out I saw that Luna was wearing a black long sleeve with normal jeans. She smiled when she saw me, we held hands as we made our way to the school....

Luna POV:
As we walked I couldn't help but giggle, tightening my grip on Nick's hand.

Nick looked at me confused, "What's so funny?"

I looked to the gray orbs inside his head, oh how I wanted him. I felt eyes on us as we got closer to the school.

My smile widened, and leaned into Nick, whispering in his ear, "Let's give them something to talk about, shall we?"

When he nodded, I grabbed him and kissed deeply. I felt him just melt into the kiss. When we separated, I saw a look of pure love. Not lust, but true love. That's when I knew that he felt the same for me as I did for him.

Suddenly I heard an angry Evan, "What do you think that you are doing, freak!?"

I felt Nick stiffen.....

Nick POV:
I looked at Evan with anger in my eyes, he wanted to end this happy moment in my life. I can't allow that, I have to protect her.

The sinister voice hissed in my ear, "Let me out.... I'll protect her. I swear to you, on my soul.... I'll end him!"

At first we just stared each other down. Chris was trying to reason with me, but I was ignoring him, I needed strength. And the sinister voice promised to give me the strength to protect Luna.

I mentally asked him, "How do I free you?"

The voice chuckled, "Just say my name, you should know it.... Don't you? No matter, in your panicked state you'll naturally call upon me."

I didn't understand what that meant, but I stood in front of Luna when Evan tried to reach out to her. He was in complete shock, his face soon returned into that damn smirk. He snapped his fingers, suddenly I was surrounded by his goons.

I decided to taunt him, "What, scared you're going to lose? I mean, really, what is this? Ten to one, hardly proves that you're strong. In fact it proves you that you are, in fact, a coward!"

He pulled out that knife, guess I made the wrong choice. The students were blocking anything that would come to save me from the beating, whether it was teacher or other students who knew this was too far.

Evan sneered, "Better watch that mouth of yours, it'll end up in your death."

He suddenly charged at me, when he stabbed me abdomen he missed my organs. Good thing too. But it still hurt, I hissed in pain.

Evan just laughed, "Come on, scream Nick. The quicker you submit to my rules the less of this you'll feel."

I looked at him and spit in his face, literally, "You can't have her, she's not yours! and nothing you do can break the bond me and her share..."

"Is that so?" Evan questioned.

He motioned for his goons to hold me. When they did he pointed his blade at Luna. As he inched closer, he looked at her with lust.

He said, "You'll serve our needs, or I'll kill the thing you cherish most. If you try to get help, I'll kill him then force you to anyways. Make your choice..."

Luna looked scared, she looked at me. I shook my head no, one of the goons punched my face.

The sinister voice said, "Time for the fun to begin..."

Then a chuckle escaped my lips....
