Hey guys sorry I left you on such a cliffhanger, but it's just so much fun anyway hope you're having a great day and I will update soon.

Archie's POV

---------------------------------------------------------------

"well" I ask angrily "you haven't has a single patient in weeks, I barley got through that procedure on Iain what is going on?". Suddenly Charlie is at the door "Charlie please tell Dr. Hudson how wrong she is".  Charlie looks stricken, I can tell he doesn't want to hurt Connie but he knows I'm right, then his eyes widen as a silver glint catches his eye, he dives for it and hands it to me shaking "diazepam" I say shocked if she was taking that stuff on perscription then Charlie would've known, it has serious side affects and needs to be properly regulated. "I can explain" she says and i immediately know it's not prescription. I don't know what to do.

Ruby's POV

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My eyelids feel heavy and my mind is filled with memories of what happened, I open my eyes slowly and carefully look around Archie is sleeping peacefully in an armchair I can't quite believe  what happened "hey" I whisper hoping  that I wake her, she stretches and rubs her eyes "RUBY!!" she says panicked " I'm right here, I'm fine" I say putting my hand on her arm she's warm like the setting sun. She relaxes and comes over to me "how are you feeling" she asks and for some reason I feel it's the most important question I've ever been asked "good a little sore, but otherwise fine" I reply honestly. "What was the shouting about" I say remembering "oh.....That" and she tells me the whole Connie debacle

"...and then she tried denying it was hers but absolutely  no one believed her, so Charlie's taking her up to see the shrink." "Woah that is a lot to take in for someone who had rocks on their head less than 5 hours ago"  "yeah" she says and collapses into the armchair. We talk for hours about everything and nothing until she falls asleep again, she looks ten years younger when she's asleep, in the day she has lines and worries that no 27 year old should have, but now she looks like someone who needs taking care of. I slip out of bed and cover her with a pale blue blanket.

Hey guys sorry this is just a short filler chapter, but nevertheless I feel it's hella important to the story. I'll update soon as possible and I hope to hear from you soon.😄
