She was sitting on a bench behind the pub and stared into the darkness thoughtfully.
"Please stop overthinking!" Kakashi said as he placed his hands on her shoulders, standing behind her. "You did the right thing, by telling us what's going on."
She remained silent and still. Kakashi teleported in front of her and squatted down while he took her hands between his.
"We're here for you, never forget that" Kakashi told her meaningfully. She glanced at him with sadness in her eyes but an honest smile appeared on her face.
"Come, let's go back inside! It's cold here." He stood up and pulled her hands up with his as a sign for her to stand up.
She followed him and looked into Kakashi's eyes. They held each other gaze until she buried her face in his chest and wrapped her arms around his torso tightly. Kakashi hugged her back and rested his chin on the top of her head.
"Everything will be fine, Sakura" he caressed her hair with one hand. "You're so much stronger than you think you're, trust me" he placed a kiss on her pink head.
They walked back inside and sat back at their table.
"Are you alright, Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked her.
"Yeah" she assured him with a smile. "What's up with all that saké?" She smirked as she glanced at the table.
"No need to act as if you don't want to drink up all of it" Naruto grinned.
Before Sakura could even think, Kakashi handed her one, while the guys took their own.
"Kanpai!" They cheered before Sakura could chicken out.
30 minutes later with all the drinks gone, they were pretty drunk, but Kakashi was wasted. He passed out and was sleeping on the desk.
"Our sensei has reached his limits" Naruto smirked.
"We shouldtakehim...home" Sakura jabbered drunkenly.
"We?" Sasuke chuckled "You can't even walk in a straight line right now"
"You thought, Uchiha!" She snapped as she stood up fastly, then lost her balance and almost fell down but managed to gain her balance back. "See?!" She asked proudly.
Both Naruto and Sasuke started laughing at her then they stood up, Naruto put Kakashi's arm around his neck who woke up, but could barely stand on his own legs. They left the pub and started walking home. Although Sakura and the boys weren't as drunk as Kakashi their steps were pretty unsure as well.
They've been walking for a good 10 minutes when they reached crossroads.
"I'll take him...from now on. I live...in the same...direction." She formed the words slowly as he took Kakashi's other arm around her neck.
"You sure? We can take him home together then walk you home" Naruto offered.
"No way! You live on the other side of Konoha...it would be morning...by the time you get home." She chuckled. "Thank you, but I'll be fine" she smiled.
"Fine!" Naruto let go of Kakashi."But be careful. Good night Sakura-chan!"
"Good night guys!" She replied with a huge smile.
Naruto turned around and started walking but Sasuke didn't. He looked at Sakura with hesitation, opened his mouth then closed it. Sakura furrowed her eyebrows as she witnessed him acting like that. Naruto turned back too and was confused by him.
"Uhm...if he...I mean" he stuttered as he was looking at the ground. Suddenly he raised his head and looked straight into her eyes while he clenched his fists. "You can come to me...us anytime you feel afraid" Sasuke split the words.
