Kakashi went into the pub and noticed that only Naruto and Sasuke were there once again. In the past 3 months, Sakura started to come less and less, until she completely stopped joining them.
"Why didn't she come this time?" asked Kakashi as he sat down in their usual box at Kohaku.
"She has to study medical books" responded Sasuke.
"At least she could make up some other excuse...she says that every time we try to get her out of the house besides missions" said Naruto expressionlessly. "I haven't even seen her since our last mission, which was a month ago." sighed Naruto.
"She's acting like that since Ren appeared if you think about it" said Sasuke
Ren was Sakura's boyfriend for around 4-3 months now, who was a former ANBU under Danzo.
"We're going on a mission in two days. She can't skip it as it's the order of the Hokage." Said Kakashi

It was 6 am, and Naruto and Sasuke were already at the gates when Kakashi arrived. In time.
"Kakashi sensei? What happened that you're not late? You thought that we were supposed to meet earlier?" he asked while raising his brows and smirking
"No, I was..." he stopped mid-sentence as a terrified look appeared on his face, staring towards the village. Naruto and Sasuke looked the way he was looking, and the same expression sat on their faces too. It was Sakura, who came towards them with a big smile, that triggered their expression.
"She looks like a skeleton" whispered Naruto frozenly.
Kakashi knew at that moment, that something really wrong is going on with her, and he has to find out what it is in this mission, otherwise, there may not be a next time.
Sakura reached them and there was an honest big smile on her face, it was visible that she was very happy to see them again. It made Naruto confused as he thought, that she was avoiding them.
"Good morning!" she said cheerfully.
Her usual ninja clothes were baggy on her, her bones were showing, her face was sunken in and the girls' skin was white as paper. Her arms were so fat less that they could see every muscle and every bone.
"Good morning Sakura!" said Kakashi with his eyes smiling.
Sakura stopped her walking next to Kakashi sensei and was staring at the boys waiting for some kind of greeting.
"What's wrong?" she asked them because they haven't said anything.
Kakashi shook his head lightly to sign them not to mention anything.
"Nothing Sakura-chan, we're just happy to see you." responded Naruto smilingly.
"I'm glad to see you too" she said cheerfully looking separately at all the three of them with a huge smile.
"We should go." Kakashi stated
They nodded, Sasuke went forward to show the road as the others followed him jumping from one three-branch to another.
"How are you Naruto? How's the training going?" asked Sakura smilingly as they were jumping next to each other and Kakashi a bit further in the back.
"Very well, Sakura-chan." responded Naruto surprised but with a smile.
"I'm glad to hear that!" she said joyfully.
Naruto wanted to ask her how she is, but he remembered Kakashi's sign at the gates, so they ended up not talking anymore, just continuing their journey.
