Only One Bitten-Lashton

Chapter 3

LUKE'S POV

I tried to stop Ash, but he was too fast. He could always out run me. I sit in the house and wait until he comes home, which takes a while. When he finally gets home I embrace him in a huge hug and ask if he's okay. 

"Yeah, just fine," Ashton says before peeling away and sitting on the couch. I look at him for a moment then move to get a shower but run into Michael. 

"Hey, I gotta go. See ya tomorrow," Michael said before moving out of the way and out the door. I shrugged and continued to the bathroom, but I checked on Calum first. He's sitting in my room watching some movie with elves. I chuckle and finally make it into the bathroom, but something feels different and I look around trying to figure out what it is. My eyes land on the bathroom sink, which has faint blood stains in it. 

What's this from? What if it was Ashton? I'll have to ask him...

I get my shower and walk back into the living room to find it empty. I look for Calum, but he's gone too with no trace at all. Where the heck is everyone? I walk to the kitchen trying to shake it off, but I can't stop thinking about the sink and Ashton. 

ASHTON'S POV

That was a little weird how Luke just suddenly hugged me. I wasn't even gone that long. He worries too much, but it's not bad. It's just him.

I decided to go back to my flat and try and get some real rest. I land on my back into my bed and close my eyes trying to fall asleep. I haven't felt tired since I woke up after that party. I give up after an hour or so of trying and decide to try eating some food. There's a bag of chicken in the freeze so I decide to cook that to help get my mind off things. Halfway through cooking, I get a text from Calum saying "Call me. Got a problem." I hit the button to call him and put him on speaker so I can keep cooking.

"Dude. It's Hunter," Calum says into the phone. He goes on to explain that Hunter got into an accident and has to stay in the hospital for a few weeks, so we can't record anything until he gets out. 

"Is it serious? Who else was there?" I anxiously ask, hoping there was no one else.

"It's not too serious for him, but Luke was in it." I drop my chicken when I heard that Luke was in the accident too. I scramble to pick up my phone so I can hear Calum better. "Why was Luke with Hunter?"

"They were going to record, but there was a drunky." 

"Can we visit em or do we have to wait?" 

"I'm about to go visit Luke if you want a ride." As I wait for Calum I feel a sharp pain again and feel the sharp teeth there instead of my normal teeth. I sigh and hope it goes away before he gets here, but they don't of course.

"Hey man, you alright there?" Calum asks as I get into the car. I just shrug trying to not to open my mouth, but I fail as we start talking about what happened. I know Calum saw because he looked right away when he looked at me. That and he asked me about them. 

"When'd they show?" Calum asked as we stopped at a right light. 

"Right before you got there. I don't know why they keep showing up randomly. It's annoying."

"Maybe it happens when you're nervous or scared or...." he pauses for a minute, "or maybe if it's something with Luke." I really think about that before replying.

"Well, then why did it happen at night?" 

"Maybe you had a dream or something." Calum says shrugging then pulling into a parking spot. We get out and head into the main doors and head towards Luke's room. Someone's already visiting him so we have to wait, which takes forever. I'm so nervous my leg starts moving up and down. A nurse informs us that only one person can see him at a time. I let Calum go first after the other person, so by the time I see Luke, I had to wait an hour.
