There are so many things happening in the world. That no matter how prepared you are, you will never be prepared enough! Life is like a maze, and the only way to get out is to go through the tunnel. I realized this at a young age when my mother would educate me on things that were happening in the world. The world is cold but also beautiful. Some people don't realize that we have potential to grow as a society. However, it will take time and patience. Anything is possible when you put your mind to it and that is one of the scariest things. Things like sex trafficking have been happening since my grandma was younger and even before that. It's just more known nowadays. Things like men being inappropriate as well have been happening way before it was first reported. But I'm not here to call out only MEN because WOMEN also mess up! BUT WE AS HUMAN HAVE TO STOP TREATING EACH OTHER LIKE CRAP! What happened to this land is your land and this land is my land? So, why are there cops treating people like shit? And maybe it's how the media portrays it or maybe it's not. What I'm saying is if you know that as a cop you have this stigma then why continue to act the same? As a young woman it applies to me as well. If I sit with my legs open then I'm not being a lady. I have to fix how I am sitting. If I am speaking really fast then often Spanish will slip out. I might not speak fluent Spanish but I'm still Mexican. Just how if you don't walk around saying y'all and acting like a "hillbilly" you are still white. This land is my land and this land is your land. Let's start acting like it! Because I am tired of people using excuses for their actions. It doesn't matter who you are our your background. We are all human.
