I'm no longer that little, little, little girl.
I'm now eighteen.
Playing tug-a-war with my lifeline,
My days as high as the moon,
Others as low as earth's core,
Today I saw the tree,
He said, "You are an owl, rather than an snake".
He meant, "Don't be as sneaky as an snake but to be as wise as an owl".
I'm no longer playing with my lifeline
Becuase my father is next to me.
I'm not that little, little, little girl that cries out for her father.
Because he will always be here for me when I need someone!
I no longer struggle with depression.
