Do you ever stay up thinking of someone?
How divine they are?
How they make your life so perfect!
As if they are that missing piece to the puzzle.
You stand back and look at the picture,
Blink your eyes and allow yourself to focus.
Focus on the picture and tell me what you see.
Because what I see is someone so divine it is blowing my mind.
You came into my life one sunny day,
I was always told that love is going to come when you least expect it.
Little did I know I was going to give you my all.
And you were going to give me your all.
I didn't know what love was till you came into my life.
I didn't know what a home was till you came into my life.
I didn't know who I was till you came into my life.
I didn't know anything till you came into my life.
You grew patient when I wasn't.
You grew to love me when I didn't love myself.
You taught me how to love!
You taught me that there is happiness.
You allowed me to be myself and never asked for anything in return.

You never once made me open no door that I didn't want to open.

Your words are smooth and precious.
