They had given me the uniform yesterday and it was now the only thing I was holding in my hands.
It consisted in a sports bra and some running pants, both of them tight and grey with my name in the back.
I was sitting in my new room, one of the few that the Academy had.
I hadn’t see Cassidy or Cato since I took my decision.
An alarm went off and echoed in the whole room, signaling that we had a few minutes to get ready.
I put on the pale uniform, combed my hair and pull it into a ponytail.
One of the trainers came to pick me up and lead me to the gym.
—For the other students you don’t live here, nobody does. Understood? — the man with the deep voice and deep eyes tells me and I just nod.
—Every morning you’ll wake up, get dressed, eat and go meet a group of specialist. They’ll give you instructions and you’ll obey them. After that you’ll train with the other trainees and when you finish your training session you’ll go back to your room, where you’ll receive more orders— I nodded, but was busy thinking about anything else.
—Where’s Cassidy? — I asked looking the man in the eye. Too many people work in here.
—Oh Miss Green, don’t worry she is safe with us— his smile is faker than the capitol’s people hair.
—You didn’t answer my question— I said determined to get an answer.
—Let me give you an advice, don’t you ever talk to your superiors like that— I couldn’t stop him, when I realized what he was going to do it was too late — or you’ll be punished— my cheek burned and my hand flew to it trying to relieve the pain.
We got to the gymnasium and the man disappeared.
—Time to play— I think and blend into the mass of students.
A/N: I know this is a filler chapter, ans it sucks, and it's definetly not totally worth the wait. But I had to update or I will never continue with this, I have an idea for the second part of the chapter and I will try to develop it so, stay tuned!
