*Jason's POV*
The next day, I wake up with the sun beaming down on my face. I get up, feeling great. I sit by the side of my bed, thinking about everything.
Wow, I don't feel like shit? That's new.
After getting up, I brush my teeth and head out for school ignoring breakfast. That day, something weird happened at lunch. I grab my food and walk to my lonesome table. Right before taking a seat, I hear someone call from across the lunch room with a loud voice.
"Yo husband come sit over here with us!" Ericka shouts from across the room. Troy and Emily both show an apologetic smile.I grab my things, and head over to their table. This is a surprise, usually people don't want to sit with me. Not that I care though. People are overrated anyways.
Some people take notice to the scene transpiring, and start staring and gossiping."Hello, can I f*****g help you?" Ericka says with mad irritation in her tone. She rolls her eyes as she signals me to come over.
No one is staring now. Troy and Emily both looked at each other looking embarrassed but still laughed. I sit down and start eating my food and we start chatting. Before I know it, Emma sits down next to me.
"Who's this?" Emily asks. "My sister, Emma" I respond. "Emma meet Ericka, Emily, and troy" I say. "Nice to meet you guys" She says with excitement. "You too, boo" Ericka responds.
We continued eating and chatting. "So you guys wanna all go to the football game tomorrow?" Ericka asks. Troy and Emily nod in agreement, and the three of them look at me. Before I can respond, Emma cuts in. "We'll be there!" She responds.
"sure, what can go wrong?" I respond. "Nothing hoe, people wanna say shit then let them I will f**k Their f*****g lives up like-" Ericka continues ranting while the rest of us just nod and laugh in approval.
Even after only knowing these people for a little bit, I don't regret it. I enjoy spending time with them.
Hopefully they feel the same
I pondering my thoughts through my head. I head to my next class and see Flynn sitting down. The bell rings and I take my seat next to him. He seems like he has something on his mind?
"How are you?" I question with curiosity. Of course, he took this opportunity to respond in sarcasm. "Wow, the way we've been hanging around and talking someone might accidentally mistake us as friends" He says with sarcasm in his tone.
He shifts around in his chair uncomfortably before speaking, this time more serious. "I told my parents that I was working on a partner project including bullying, and they want to meet you. personally I'm against it just because I hate when they get all up in my bees wax." He responds.
"W-well, I uh-" he cuts me off, "You don't have to it's fine I'll just tell them another time" He says. "No it's fine, I'll go. It's not a problem." I respond He looks at me with judgmental eyes and nods. After class that day, I head to his house and stop by a nearby gas station.
I purchase a bag of chips and continue towards his house. Arriving at his house, I take notice of the perfect lawn and the sweet scent of flowers. Is their lawn always this flawless? I think to myself.I walk up to the door and ring the doorbell.
A perky younger looking woman opens the door and greets me with a confused look on her face. "Hi! um is there something I can do for you?" She asks in curiosity.
