14. Check-In / The Big City!

*Jason's POV

Finally here! I was so tired of being in that plane. It was my first time, and I was scared shitless. The weather didn't help either. But Flynn's presence helped. I think.

The pilot announced for everyone to exit, starting with the front of the plane. After everyone exited, all of us on the field trip gathered with a few teachers.

The teacher called for a big bus to come pick everyone up. Everyone boarded, looking out at all of the humungous sights.

Wow..

Amazing. Everything looked so extreme. Everyone was looking out the windows with shocked expressions. We finally arrived after what seemed to be a week. From the airport leaving, to the airport because of the weather delay, to now.

We exited the bus, and stood in front of the hotel. I look up, extremely excited but not as much as Emma. Her eyes looked like diamonds as she stared at the amazing sight. Apparently, our school has dealt with their hotels before and for some reason, they liked us.

As a result, The hotel gave us free rooms. The thing is.. These rooms aren't like your friendly neighborhood inn. This hotel is massive. five stars, a casino, a huge indoor and outdoor pool, and yes, It's warm enough to swim.

Ericka ran inside right next to Emma. They looked like little kids that just got chocolate bars. Ericka calls me and Flynn after entering. "Come on hoe! This is amazing!" She says. Me and Flynn walk inside, and immediately gasp. The scenery was perfect. They have a huge piano in the main lobby. It looks like a palace.

As we enter, a host walks up to all of us. Welcome to New York! Amazing, right? Well you haven't seen anything yet. Tomorrow they are doing a free tour of a part of the city in case you want to join! He says excitedly.

One of the teachers interrupts. Thanks, but for now can we figure out our rooms? We're WestBrooke high. "Oh of course! This way" He says, leading the teacher to the main desk.

The teacher tells everyone to sit tight as she sorts out the rooms and the roommates. An excited Ericka and Emma decide to go exploring, taking Emily and Flynn with them. Me and Troy sit down on the luxurious couch.

"This place really is amazing" He says, looking at me. Wanna go for a walk outside? He suggests. "Sure, why not?" I say and follow him out the door. we start walking around the building, gasping in awe. He leads me to a nice fountain and we sit down feeling the nice warm sun shine down on us.

We sit there for a moment, taking everything in. The sun is so warm. Everything is so exciting here. "This is so amazing!" I say in excitement. I sit up on the fountain and look at him as he looks back in awe. "You are.." He says while staring into my eyes.

Troy leans in with one swift motion and lands his lips on mine, closing his eyes as he kisses me. We both sit motionless on the fountain. He pulls me closer, parting his lips for a second then returning. As he does this, electricity shoots through my body. T-This is a kiss?

I look over my shoulder, seeing none other than Flynn Kessler standing across the large fountain, holding a piece of paper. He stands there, utterly speechless. He tries to speak, but nothing comes out. He looks at me with disbelief and shock all over his face.

After seeing Flynn, my eyes widen and I break off the kiss. What am I doing? I don't even like Troy.. Or do I? I don't even know how I feel towards Flynn! This is a mess. Definitely not how the trip was supposed to start.

I know Flynn thinks of me as a friend, but then why is he so surprised? Is he Jealous? Maybe he didn't know I'm gay? Actually, I haven't told anyone. Not Ericka, Not Emily, no one. It's not like a secret or anything, but it's just I haven't gotten around to tell anyone.. Although, I'm sure Emma get's the idea. She's known me long enough.

I stand up and apologize to Troy and walk away. He grabs my hand, stopping me. He pulls me into a hug. "I'm sorry, it's just I thought you were aware of how I felt towards you. I was trying to be obvious for a while now. Ever since you sang that song in the choir room. Ever since Ericka introduced us." He says in a tone that I can't even tell what's happening.

"I know you have eyes for Kessler. Anyone with eyes and a brain could put it together, but even so, you can't deny that you felt something for me just now." He says, and kisses my cheek.

I am at a complete loss for words.

Do I have feelings for Troy?

I have no idea what to feel right now. All I know is that I need to find Flynn and everyone else. How am I going to explain this? Does everyone know that Troy is gay? I don't know what to do..

I look at Troy with shocked and guilty eyes. He notices and pulls me into another hug. "It's okay, you don't have to decide right now. Just know I'll always be here for you and what happened just now was something I needed to do." He says before breaking off the hug and heading inside.

I walk up to the teacher. "Hey Larson, it looks like you're paired with Flynn Kessler for the remainder of the trip! You will also be sharing a room with him. I gave him the paper earlier, but I don't seem to see him right now. You can check your room, number 1105" she says and hands me a key. I take the key and head to the elevator. What a mess.

What Am I going to say to him? Should I tell him that I have feelings for him?? But after my encounter with Troy...

I have intense feelings bundled up inside me. But the question is.. Who do I have feelings for?
