A few days later Pansy runs up to Draco and me in the hall with a smirk. "Professor Dumbledore wants to see you! Something about your brother I bet. Maybe he dropped out. Pressure tends to be hard on Hufflepuffs." She sneers.

"Yea right." I roll my eyes, "See you at the library for that assignment Draco." I walk off.

Once in the office with Hermione and Ron, Professor Dumbledore and the McGonall.

Dumbledore speaks up, "Hello Miss y/n. We have a request for the three of you."

"Ok? Is everything ok?" I ask.

"Of course, we just need you to play a part in the next challange. " Dumbledore says.

"Umm... how so?" I step back from them some.

"I'm sure we will be fine Y/n." Hermione comments and smiles at he reassuringly

"We will be putting you into a safe position under a spell for your safety. Your brother will then pluck you from there to win. It tests agility and resourcefulness." Dumbledore explains.

"It's safe? I would rather not really." I admit.

"You will be safe." He says.

"Ok.. but what if they fail?" I ask.

"I'll get you. Don't worry." He responds cooly.

"I suppose." I shrug.

"Good." He says.

The next thing I know, I'm bobbing in the lake, coughing on the water some while Cedric pulls me to a platform.

Once on the platform Dumbledore hands me a towel and blanket, "Here, keep warm. And congratulations for being first Cedric."

Cedric smiles and nods while leading me to the side.

Draco, standing by his father, stops us and looks concerned, "You alright? This didn't hurt you, did it?"

"No, I'm fine. I was asleep through it all." I shrug.

His father then looks at us, "Congratulations Cedric. You did well. And good to finally meet you Miss Y/n. My son speaks highly of you."

"It's good to meet you too sir." I respond politely.

He just nods in response and goes backt o the game.

Something about the way Lucius watches me makes me uncomfortable, almost like he is trying to figure something out.

"Oh, sorry for not showing up to the library. I was apparently busy." I add to Draco.

"It's ok. I got it done. I'll help you catch up of you need." Draco responds.

Lucius looks between the two of us for a moment then back out to the water.
