After a month of daily training and school work the first game of the season has arrived.

Between trying to maintain a normal school life and helping Draco in and out of the Room of Requirments, I have been beside myself with stress.

But this game is the moment I've waited for this semester. The first game is Gryffindor verses Hufflepuff. And I plan to win.

I have it all worked out.

Harry plays trying to get ahead and following the snitch as close as possible. I just have to manage to change directions as it does and intersect it and him. A little game of courage and the snitch is mine and he is flying away from it.

So as we are on the feild and I watch nitice it dive down, I watch and position myself to intersect it.

What I don't count on is that Harry would catch up to it just as I catch it.

He accidently grabs my fist as my hand closes around the snitch and rips me off my broom. My weight is too much for this type of grasp to support me, and I fall.

I reach for my wand in my boot, but gravity wins and my body hits the ground hard.

All I can make out is shadows passing over me and the light of the sun in between them. My ears are pounding with the sound of my blood pulsing and a ringing that should alarm every dog a 32 kilometer radius. Though I know it is all in my head.

As I finally open my eyes I find myself looking at a white ceiling instead of the sky.

That's when I notice my hand is being held and the room is silent. No pulsating bloodflow or ringing.

"Y/n. You're alright." Draco says softly.

"That's good. Did I catch it?" I asks, remembering how victorious I felt for the split second that it took to realize my broom was not under me.

He chuckles and shakes his head, "You almost die and you are worried about if you caught the snitch?"

"I had a flawless plan that had one flaw." I smirk, "and that one flaw was doubting my opponent. But was it worth it? Did I catch it?"

"Somehow you kept hold of it even after passing out." Draco informs me.

I can't help but to laugh at the annoyed look on his face.

But to me, this proves I can handle myself. I can do what I set my mind to. Just like Professor McGonagall said during the few lessons on defense she gave me.

"So when can I leave? How long have I been asleep?" I ask him.

"Oh you're here for a while still. You were asleep for five years." Draco says gently.

I look at him unsure, "What? But you haven't aged a day!"

Thats when he starts laughing, "You really are too easy to work up still. It's been a day. Just long enough for the magic and potions to heal up your spine."

"Oh... good..." I say and sigh then smack his hand lightly, "Don't tease me like that!"

Madam Pomfrey comes in the room and smiles, "Good. You're awake and well enough to smack him. As soon as you eat something you can leave."

I nod anxiously and hope I can hold down my food. It seems she planned for me to wake up now as she puts a tray of food on my bedside table for me.
