Metamorphmagus (Draco Malfoy x Reader)

The rest of the holiday is a blur. Between spending time alone with Draco and learning healing spells from Narcissa, it turns out to be a good holiday.

On Christmas day we have a nice dinner and trade small gifts as a family. It is honestly more normal then I expected.

Returning to Hogwarts is a dreaded event however.

The semester begins and drags itself out.

The only useful thing I learn is the patronus charm, in secret of course, which I then go to Draco and teach him in private.

As we finish up practicing in the closed area of the Astronomy Tower, Draco pulls me close and whispers seductively, "You know, you would make a amazing teacher... You are quite captivating..."

"Oh, hush! You're the worst..." I smirk back playfully.

"Draco! We have Cho! Umbridge is about to use a truth serum on her! Come on! We don't want to miss this!" Blaise Zabini yells as he comes running through the door.

Draco and I quickly pull apart completely and stand, straightening ours clothes out.

"Yes, well Y/n is going to join us. She has been invited in after all." Draco states.

Blaise nods and we walk briskley back to Umbridge's office.

Cho looks at me with shock, "You really do side with them don't you?"

"I... I support Draco. You wouldn't understand." I reply, emotion whipping from my body all together.

Draco sends a worried glance my way but easily hides it with a well practiced look of pride.

"You made a good choice Y/n. Welcome. Would you administer the serum please?" Professor Umbridge asks.

I nod with a straight face and take the vial. "Now Cho, please do not make me force this on you... I don't want to hurt you..." I look at her.

She gives me a defiant look and I sigh, gently grabbing her face and squeezing to make her lips part.

Suddenly she shoves me away, catching everyone in the room off guard.

I fall back, almost hitting my head, but Blaise catches me. I look up at him and he nods firm.

"Pin her down and force her mouth open boys. We can't have her doing that again." Blaise states as I stand.

Draco pinches Cho's cheeks, forcing her lips open and whispers something into her ear. She looks in pain and frightened.

I quickly give her the serum and everyone let's her go. Umbridge then steps in front of her. "Now dear. How do we find the room?"

"It only shows for those who require it." Cho responds.

"Then you will reveal it to us. Where is it?" She states and lifts Cho from the seat.

They then go and break into the room. Setting them all up for punishment.

I get a few angry looks and look down.
Draco puts a hand on my back gently.

Lilly and Jude come out and stop at me, shock on their faces, then walk with the others, avoiding me.

Over the next few weeks I am treated as the outcast. Nobody will talk to me or even speak in my presence except for the Slytherin students.

Then, at the end of the school year, the OWLS are interrupted and Umbridge goes missing. Nobody really sheds a tear over this.

After redoing the tests, we leave for the summer break. One that is likely to be a long one.

Especially with Lucius being put on trial.

After a long summer I am at Diagon Alley where I find Draco and Narcissa.

I run to him and wrap my arms around him tightly.

He holds me close and all his tension seems to disappear for a brief moment before he pulls away. "I have to go do something, but I'll be back for the supplies."

"No. I'm comming with you. The ministy knew all along and was hiding the truth from me. I'm sure my parents know too and are hiding it from me..." I start but trail off.

Draco gives me a worried look as I down. I know he can see I feel betrayed by my parents. 

"I'm sorry, but I can't allow that. It will put you in danger." Narcissa says sternly.

"It's him isn't it?" I ask quietly.

She nods in response. "Just stay on Diagon alley. We will be back."

I nod and watch them leave before going and picking up both my and Draco's school supplies.

They come back and I meet them by the rubble of the wand shop.

"You got my supplies as well? Thank you..." Draco says, smiling half heartedly.

"You alright?" I know he can tell I am worried.

"I am fine. I have you on my side." He kisses my cheek as he says it.

I nod and smile then look to Narcissa, "Before I go, I had a question Narcissa..."

She smiles softly, "What is it?"

With a nervous breath, I ask, "Who is my mother?"

She sighs, "The only person who was allowed to know that was Snape. You'll have to ask him."
