Unexpected (Pt. 1)

So this'll be like a mini series in the book but I don't think it'll be that long and there is a reference to another chapter mentioned

First PoV:

'Holy shit.'

Was my initial thought as I stared down at the test. I was happy but I didn't know if Guzma was going to be happy, upset or even both.

"Hey (N/n) you okay?"

Plumeria's voice of concern took me out of my thoughts before unlocking the bathroom door and pulling her in.

"What gives!? Something wro-"

I shoved the test into her hands and she stared down in confusion before her eyes went wide.

"Holy shit."

"Yup."

"Guzma know?"

"I didn't even know!"

"Well it kinda explains alot. You haven't been feeling well or anything."

She was right. I had been throwing up and had alot of cramps despite it not being my time of the month. Plus I had been having strange cravings as well as my body being sore.

"Yeah...I guess."

"What's wrong? Not happy?"

"It's just what if Guzma doesn't...ya know?"

"Stop that right know. He's talked about having kids before right? Plus with the gang disbanded and him training under old man Hala again it'll be fine having a kid. He'll be estatic."

"I hope so."

"Plus if he isn't I'll beat his ass and make sure he doesn't come near you and if he does I swear I will make him suffer-"

"Okay! Okay! I get it!"

I stood at the entrance of Iki town where Guzma was currently training with Hala. He was mostly doing work in the fields and helping out the townspeople as well. He was also trying to improve his friendship with his pokémon.

I nervously toyed with my hands dressed up in a simple white loose-fitting dress and a small handbag. I let out a sigh of stress continuing to look at the ground not moving an inch.

'Maybe I should tell him later-'

"Ah (Y/N)! What brings you here today? Visiting Guzma?"

"Hala! Oh um yes I was going to see him..."

"Is something wrong?"

"Well...I have to tell him something important but...I'm scared to."

Hala stayed silent for a bit but smiled.

"No need to be scared. If he loves you he will listen and come to accept whatever you tell him. Guzma can be stubborn but if you were the one to talk to him, he would listen."

My nerves slowly went away as I thought about what he told me.

He was right. If Guzma loves me then he'll be happy about our baby, but if he didn't accept it then there was no reason for me to be with him.

I looked up at him and smiled before hugging him.

"Thank you Hala."

"You're welcome child. Guzma should be wrapped up with his work and is probably getting ready to head back."

I nodded and went towards the small field where Guzma was. I found him petting Goliospod as he did seem to be getting ready to leave.

I breathed in before-

"GUZMA!"

He jumped before turning to me with surprise and walked over.

"Beauty ya scared me. What's up? Ya wanted ta walk me home-"

"I need to tell you something really important!"

He looked surprised but nodded.

"Go on."

"You can't get mad if you love me!"

"What-"

"I'm serious!"

"Alright alright. What is it?"

I breathed in and out once more before looking at him with furrowed brows and pressed lips.

"I'm pregnant."

He stood still for a good while. His eyes were wide and his entire body seemed frozen. He only snapped out of it when Goliospod let out a cry of happiness coming closer to us.

"Y-ya serious?"

"Yes."

"Ya ain't playin' round'?"

"No."

He stayed still a bit more before he ran a hand through his hair.

"Holy shit."

He suddenly sped towards me and locked me into a tight embrace.

"We're gonna be parents!"

I burst into a smile and hugged back.

"Yeah we are!"

"Me too. I was really scared."

"What? Why?"

"I thought you wouldn't..."

"Stay with ya?"

I nodded and Guzma placed his hands on my cheeks making look at him.

"Beauty there is no way in hell I would leave ya. You and me are staying together. Specially now. I've told ya I wanted a family with ya before remember?"

I thought back to that day in the meadow and nodded.

"I do."

"Then ya know I'm stayin' with ya forever."

He pulled me back into his arms with a grin.

"I love ya Beauty."

"I love you too Beast."
