Well, this certainly was not expected!
First the capture, then the fall into this ridiculously and totally dark chasm! Very obvious that this was just not my day. They say that seeing is believing but yet I could not believe what my eyes were showing my mind. I was actually here. The great beyond! The place we were told to never venture out to. The place people never returned from. The place of epic doom! Well, that last bit was a little exaggeration from my so called "partner".
Although Mizar and I were, lets say, 'a wee' bit different from the others, we were still terrified of the place we were in despite our special powers. It was like tartarus, if that place even existed. Total darkness! Did I already mention that? Because like hell it was true!
Anyway, while we were getting used to our surroundings and regaining our consciousness, we heard it. The loud Thump and an extraordinary squeal many of the seniors back at our kingdom had warned us about. Just then, there it was, a huge dark figure looming over us, its body fitted the description exactly as we were told. Next thing I knew, we were so dead...... or were we?
