MIZAR
A: "What?!"
K: "Its true Alcor, as unbelievable as it may sound, General Lax is not lying."
Okay, so far out the situation I am in is not completely that terrifying. I mean, why should they even get scared? They've got two Vampirus at their sides for god's sake! I mean, with all the knowledge I've endured, the Vampirus were feared by everyone, even the Loathings. Well, at the time of Queen Venus, there were like hundred of them, and it must have been terrifying because 1) She was alone and 2) She was pregnant! And now if there are more than just hundred, then why worry so much because before, they didn't have Vampirus at their side. Then why is everybody so panicky? Well, not everybody, but to be more specific, why is Alcor so panicky? I glanced at her direction and boy did she look like she's losing it! Even with her freaking out, I cannot deny the fact that she was totally looking super hot right now, screaming her head off!
Still, I've got a bad gut feeling that even with two Vampirus, we should not be so sure that we would have the upper hand. Something tells me that this is not going to be a walk in the park, not that it ever was.
While I was arguing with my thoughts, I heard someone say my name;
A: "Mizar! Are you even listening to any of this? Tell me, why were you chuckling right now at a situation like this? Its about time you become serious!" Alcor chided, slightly annoyed, though its what made her look cute.
M: "Oh uhh... was I? Sorry I can't actually help it. You all look kind of hilarious right now." I began to snicker but then cut it off as I saw the King and General Lax and Alcor glaring at me. "What? Look, I don't get why all of you are panicking. You've got two Vampirus on your side this time 'round and personally, I've been practicing some extra moves to give those Loathings a beating in their asse-.....uhh.... I mean their behinds." I plastered an innocent smile.
GL: "Look kid, we know that we've got Vampirus with us now which is very obvious as to say what with all the ruckus around the Kingdom." He glared at me and I got the hint.
M: "What? You mean that time when I entered a nice Lady's house and by mistake set her house on fire with my power?" I directed the question at the general.
GL: "That 'Lady' is my wife and she invited you inside so that you could help with the fire for cooking in return for some veens and, that house you 'accidentally set on fire' was my house!" He yelled and then regained his composure. Sometimes I wish I could just set this guys pants on fire and I would really do it some day because he's starting to get on my nerves!
Author's note: 'Veens' is the currency of Venus, sorry couldn't think of anything else:3
ALCOR
I swear I could see some invisible, not a very kind conversation, going on between the general and Mizar and before I could intervene, the King did;
K: "Enough you two." He said in a slightly annoyed tone. "We have bigger problems at hand and yes Mizar, even though we've got you two as our first line of defence...." I could notice the general flinch at that line and then put on his usual grumpy face. "....we cannot risk the safety of our Kingdom so the general and I have come to a conclusion that you two would be permitted to go outside the barrier and regain the lost piece of our holy sceptre from those tyrants!"
I was frozen as ice on hearing what the King had just said, this was inconceivable! Was he actually going to let the two of us alone journey right into death, the place where people never came back from? But I was determined to keep my homeland safe.
