Singularity (BTS Taehyung FF)

chapter VII

Sarang's POV:

I slowly faced him... My soon to be husband. As I looked at his face from below the veil.. I couldn't read a single emotion on his face. No happiness no sadness no anger,no nothing.

He extended his hand as per the priest's wish. I looked at the said man who gestured me to do the same.

I reluctantly raised my and brought it near his. As the tips of my fingers grazed his, a chill went down my spine.

His hands were ice cold. His long finger wrapped around my smaller ones, his big hands envoloped my smaller ones completely.

"Do you, Kim Taehyung, take Ms Kang .... Sarang as your lawfully wedded wife. To be with her for eternity, both in happiness and in misery? " Asked the priest smiling at both if us.

"I do. " Said Taehyung's with a small smile. Probably his mother told him to do so when she went to 'talk' to him . They wouldn't want the others to think that the relationship of the bride and groom is fragile.

"Do you, Kang Sarang take Kim Taehyung as your lawfully wedding husband, to be with his for eternity, both in happiness and in misery?"

This is it .. I took in a deep breath and said the two words with a small smile similar to Taehyung's. "I do".

"We then! I pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss the bride!!" He said happily.

Oh no! The kiss! I forgot about that!!

Okay Sarang, deep breaths... Okay...

I looked back at Taehyung. He stared deeply at me. His eyes were do deep and piercing....

He let go of my hand and clutched the ends of my veil,  slowly lifting it up to reveal my face. As the piece of lace covering my face was removed, I slowly lifted my eyes to meet his.

They were the same from four years ago, they were the same as the day if the meeting.

They were deep, fathomless.

I felt a cold sensation on my face. His hand, was cupping my cheek. His stare not wavering. His eyes bore into mine as he leaned in, his eyes not leaving mine.

It was getting harder to maintain the eye contact by the minute. His eyes were so forbidding that it actually ingnited the feeling of fear in me..... A small sensation, but enough to make my heart beat rapidly.

His eyes slowly began to close as our faces were just inches apart. I didn't know what to-do! I panicked and closed my eyes tightly. His breath was now fanning my face.

That's when I heard. His deep voice whispered so that it was only audiable to me and him.

"this is for the first and last " his deep voice said coldly.

And in an instant I felt his cold lips on mine. Barely touching my lips, but at the same time touching them in the most delicate manner.

The moment his lips came in contact with mine,  lightning  sparks erupted within my body. Causing me to shudder internally.

His lips were cold and soft. An unexpected combination.

I heard clapping all around me as he pulled away, breaking the kiss,  still looking at me blankly, or so i thought. He never showed any other emotion except for aloofness.

But as I fully mustered up enough courage to look him straight in the eye I saw something completely unexpected...

His eyes were slightly widened as he looked at me. Why was he surprised?

Has the reality of the  situation dawned on him now?

Or perhaps... he felt the sparks too?  He felt the connection too?

Was the feeling contrary to his expectation? Is he equally surprised by the situation as I am?

I looked into his orbs that looked straight into mine. A trance.. we both were in a trance.

I we were both brought back to reality by a tap on our shoulders by the priest.

"You both can look

We turned to the crowd and slightly smiled as told by our parents.

He and I were now officially married. Now the real journey starts... A journey with this stone hearted man I call my husband.
