Singularity (BTS Taehyung FF)

chapter IX

Jimin watched.

Sarang in a  beautiful wedding dress looking mesmerizing and fragile.

She was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on. She walked with such elegance and it was killing him that she was not his.

She walked towards the chapel and took Taehyung's hand which was held out.

His heart clenched. It was painful.

He felt as if nothing in the world was his anymore.

He watched as she stood opposite to Taehyung.

Jimin watched as he lifted Sarang's veil.

He watched as the couple said their vows.
He saw Taehyung cupping her soft cheeks.

How he wanted to rip Taehyung's hand off of his love.

How he wanted to stop this wedding and take her with him.

And how he envied the man standing opposite to her.

He would have given anything to be in that place.

He would have given anything, for her.

After all, he loved her.

But he couldn't do anything. It was her choice to leave him and  the slightest thought about making her feel bad held him back.

And then came the moment he had been dreading. The kiss.

Sarang had never let him touch her in that manner. They why was she letting him?

He watched as the couple leaned in.
And their lips touched.

He a fire blazed in his heart.

They pulled apart. And turned to the crowd smiling.

Jimin looked at the couple with narrowed eyes. He saw her smiling with him.

Are you happy Sarang? Did you really not...

At that get moment, her head turned in his direction.

Their eyes met. Her brown ones with his black ones.

Jimin stared.

Sarang looked neither happy or sad. Which confused Jimin.

She saw his eyes full of pain and sadness. And for a second felt bad about her decision.
But the memories of the past caught up with her in no time and chased away any remorse she had left for him.

She looked at him solemnly.

Jimin closed his eyes for a while.

"Was it because of that day?"
"I think you already know the answer to that Jimin".

That day was the day he regretted the most.

And with one last glance, turned around and left the extravagant alter.

"This is not over Sarang, I still have a lot to prove." He said looking up at the sky.

What does Jimin want to prove? Want happened that day? Why is Sarang acting like this?
