It's been a week. Due to Taylor's poor behaviour and her previous history in her old school, San Antonio High School has placed "special measures" on Taylor. They have placed her into the specialist behaviour unit, meaning she had smaller classes. This also allows more one-on-one time with teachers/tutors in order to catch up on missed work that she may have, anything she struggles with or just general revision. She's trying to be more focused in school and is less moody and aggressive but she still has a lot of work to do. If there's one thing that Taylor struggles with, it's staying focused. Whether it be in school or out, she has a very small attention span. Regardless of that, her teachers assistant, Clara, tries her best to keep Taylor on track. They were currently halfway through a maths lesson and Taylor was starting to lose it.
"Come on Taylor, you just need to answer these questions and then you're finished with this booklet." Clara encouraged, trying to gain the teens attention again.
"I don't want to..." Taylor sighed, playing with her pen.
"It's not an option, come on." Clara tried again.
"Yes it is. I'm done." Taylor said slamming her pen down on the desk before she grabbed her bag from the floor.
"Where are you going?" Clara asked.
"Anywhere but here." Taylor stated as she started walking out of the classroom.
"Miss Allister-" The teacher tried, but it was too late, she was already out of the classroom and off down the corridor.

An hour later, she arrives at the San Antonio Memorial, deciding that it was best to go there so that she wouldn't get in even more trouble for going AWOL.
"Shouldn't you be in school?" TC asked, catching a glimpse of the teen as she walked in whilst he was at the computer.
"Shouldn't you be working?" Taylor shot back. TC raised an eyebrow.
"I walked out. I couldn't focus. Thought it was best to come here though...is my dad around? He'll go apeshit when he finds out..." Taylor rambled.
"Oi! Language." TC warned. He took a deep breath.
"And no, he's in the field." TC told the teen.
"Molly, can you take Taylor to get something to eat and stay with her until I get back?" TC asked, facing her with a smile.
"Sure, come on honey." She said happily, accepting the money from TC before she lead the teen off down the corridor. Creating an action plan in his head, TC walks outside to make a few phone calls. Drew would be gone for quite a while as he was working in the field for the day. Firstly, he calls the school to let them know where Taylor is before he then calls Rick to let him know what's going on. Rick tells him he's on his way as he's not working that day do TC promises to keep an eye on her until he arrives. TC then goes back to find Taylor. He finds her with Molly in the break room.
"Thanks Molly." TC says, excusing her.
"No problem. See you later Taylor." Molly says getting the hint as she stands up and walks out. TC leans against the pool table.
"Okay, firstly, I called the school to let them know that you're safe." TC starts. Taylor nods.
"And secondly, I called Rick to come and get you because you dad is working on the field all day." TC finishes. Taylor sighs and rolls her eyes.
"He's on his way. Until then, you are not to leave this room." TC warns her. Taylor crosses her heart with his finger as a way of promising her that she won't. TC nods, chucks her a bottle of water from the fridge, before he leaves. He gets back to work as he waits for Rick to arrive.

Not long after, Rick arrives and, after talking to TC, goes to Taylor in the break room.
"We'll talk about you walking out later when your dad gets home." Rick states first.
"But, that being said, thank you for coming here and not going off somewhere else." Rick tells the teen. Taylor doesn't say anything.
"Right, come on. Let's go." Rick says, opening the door. Taylor picks up her bag from the floor and walks out the door. Rick follows her.
"Thanks TC." Taylor calls out to him as he places a chart down on the desk. TC smiles as her as the teen and Rick walk out of the hospital.
"You have to stop this Taylor." Rick says once they're outside. Taylor just rolls her eyes.
"Stop that as well." He warns.
"Or what?" Taylor shot back sarcastically.
"You're not my dad, you can't tell me what I can and cannot do!" Taylor said raising her voice.
"That's enough! I'm sick of your behaviour and I'm sick of the way you're treating me. I may not be your dad, but I'm you dad's husband which means I have some say over you! Especially when you're living under our roof!" Rick said angrily. Taylor just looks at him.
"From what I've seen in the past few weeks, you're nothing like your dad described you as." Rick added.
"He doesn't even know me! I've hardly seen him since I was 6 years old! A 2 day visit here and there. Phone calls, texts, birthday cards, he doesn't even know me! None of you do!" Taylor screamed, taking Rick back by surprise. Instead of saying anything else, Taylor got into the truck and waited. After a minute, Rick got in too. It was completing silent in the truck as they drove home, the only sound coming from the engine. It was tense. Neither of them wanting to speak to each other at that moment in time. Without anything being said, the pair went back home. Taylor went straight to her room as Rick stayed downstairs. They just had to wait for Drew to get home before it was guaranteed that everything would kick off again.
