Everyone was laughing, joking and having a good time. Taylor had sat herself next to Rick and for the first time, they were having a nice, friendly conversation. Drew was sat listening to them and the others around him when his phone rang. He looked at it before he answered.

"Hello?" By now, Rick had looked up at him.

"What?!" Drew exclaimed, causing everyone to look at him.

"Yeah, yeah, we're on our way. Thanks." Drew said, before putting his phone back in his pocket.

"What is it?" Taylor asked before anyone else could.

"We need to go. Your mum just showed up asking for us at SAM's." Drew told her, also glancing at Rick. Taylor didn't know what to say.

"Come on." Drew said, grabbing his jacket. Rick and Taylor did the same as Drew handed Jordan some money for their food.

"Hey Drew, call me if you need to talk." Jordan said, grabbing his arm gently.

"Thanks." Drew smiled, before he followed Rick and Taylor outside.

"After all this time, now she bloody shows up." Taylor muttered, getting into the truck. Rick and Drew ignored what she said. They ride to the hospital was filled with silence. Nobody said a word to each other.

"Finally!" Katherine, Taylor's mum, exclaimed as the Drew, Rick and Taylor walked into hospital.

"Not here." Drew stated, walking into the break room. Everyone followed him.

"It's about time Katherine. I've been trying to get a hold of you for months!" Drew said frustratedly.

"Well, I've been busy." Katherine said, making Taylor laugh.

"Busy?! I'm your daughter. You were too busy to notice that I left Seattle?!" Taylor said raising her voice. Rick looked at her, telling her to calm down. Taylor took a deep breath and went and stood by the window.

"Taylor told me what happened back in Seattle. I'm not surprised she left." Drew told Katherine. Katherine glared at her daughter.

"You still spreading that bull shit?! Nothing happened. Matt's not like that. Stop lying for attention." Katherine growled, pointing her finger at Taylor. Taylor had tears in her eyes.

"Why would I lie about something like that? Or why would the police get involved?! You remember that...the police taking Matt in for questioning and you defended him...not me, your daughter?!" Taylor said angrily.

"He hurt me mum! More than you could ever imagine but you were too high, or drunk or in love to notice!"

"I-I cant do this..." Taylor cried, running out of the room.

"Taylor!-" Drew called, only Katherine stopped him.

"We need to talk. Let her go off in a sulk." She spat. Drew tried to remain calm but inside his blood was boiling.

"I'll go." Rick told Drew, getting up and leaving the room.

"Don't! Don't even go there!" Drew warned, as Katherine went to say something about Rick.

Outside the hospital, Rick looked around the carpark but couldn't see Taylor. He tried ringing her but it went straight through to answer phone.

"Taylor, please call or text me or your dad. Just let us know you're okay." He said leaving a message before he put his phone away. He went back to Drew and Katherine.

"She's gone." He told Drew. Drew sighed and ran his hands over his face.

"What happened back in Seattle?" Drew asked calmly.

"Nothing-"

"What happened?!" Drew said raising his voice. Katherine was stunned. She rolled her eyes before talking.

As the day went on, Drew and Katherine talked more before she left. She said she didn't want anything to do with Taylor which pissed Drew off. It had been nearly 4 hours since they had seen or heard from Taylor and Drew was worried. He didn't know what state Taylor was in but he knew she was confused and hurting. Having sat down with Rick, the couple had come to the decision to apply for full custody over Taylor due to everything Katherine had said. They both knew because of this they would most likely have to talk about what had happened back in Seattle. That inevitably meant returning to Seattle to talk to the police and to get all of Taylor's belonging packed up. Forgetting about that for now, Drew and Rick focused on Taylor. The others had found out about what had happened and were all just as concerned as them for Taylor's well-being.

As it got later and later, Taylor was roaming the streets. She didn't really know what she was doing or where she was even going but considering what had happened, her emotions were all over the place. Having thought about it for the past hour or so, Taylor decided that it was best to let someone know she was okay. The only question was who to call. Thinking about it for a few minutes, Taylor turned on her phone and clicked on Scott's contact. The pair had bonded during the last few weeks and Taylor felt like he was the best person to call.

"Taylor, are you okay?" Scott's voice said as soon as the line connected.

"Don't think okay's the right word, but yeah." Taylor told him.

"Where are you, I'll come pick you up." Scott told the teen.

"Aren't you at work?" She asked.

"No, I'm on call." He told her. Taylor gave in and told Scott where she was. Promising to stay there, Scott told her that he would be there in a few minutes. Taylor sat down on the curb and waited for him to arrive. He knew that Scott would most likely call her dad but she didn't really care.

Half an hour later, Taylor was sat in Scott's car as they drove back to the hospital.

"They're going to be mad at me for running away again, aren't they?" Taylor asked after a long period of silence.

"No, they're going to be relieved that you're okay." Scott told the teen.

"My mum practically disowned me. She called me a liar and an attention seeker. I don't know what to do anymore." Taylor said quietly, looking out the window.

"All families are messed up, Taylor. Your dad, Rick and all of us- we care about you. We're going to help you through this." Scott told her seriously. Taylor looked up and smiled at him slightly.

"Thank you for helping me." Taylor said quietly.

"Anytime." Scott said as they pulled into the junction. Before they could react, two cars came speeding towards them. One swerved out of the way but the other crashed straight into the side of Scott's car, sending it flying down the road. After it rolled a couple of times, it came to a halt on its side. Scott tried to call out to Taylor as he was still conscious. He looked out of the window just as a truck sped towards them. It rammed into the car sending it flying down the street. This time Scott had been knocked out like Taylor and they were both left trapped in the upturned car.
