The doppelganger was reading in her room, but stopped, hearing Rebekah and Klaus.

"I cannot believe you disposed of those vampires without me. You know how much I love to set things on fire!" Rebekah complained.

Klaus gave a smile and said, "Was I supposed to leave them in the front yard to rot? Besides, they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless pregnant girl who's carrying my child."

Rebekah rolled her eyes at him. "Oh, I am so moved by your newfound sense of fatherly duties towards the doppelganger carrying your hybrid bun in her oven."

Katherine walked to the entrance of the parlor and leaned against the threshold of the entrance.

"The doppelganger would like to know what the plan is."

"Well, that depends what plan you mean, luv. My plan for global domination, or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world."

Rebekah grabbed a pencil from the table beside her and threw it at Klaus, whom then caught it before it could hit him in the face.

"The plan to take down Marcel. I told you I would help, didn't I? So, how can I help?"

"Well, now that I have his trust, my plan is to sabotage his hold over the supernatural community of the French Quarter. Once I find out which vampires are his inner circle, I'm going to use them against Marcel." He looked at Rebekah and then at Katerina. "If my Plan A fails, there's always Plan B."

"And what's Plan B?" she asked, though she assumed what it was.

"War," he answered with a smile.

She smiled back, loving that idea.

After a talk with Marcel and then meeting in the French Quarter, Klaus and Rebekah agreed that it was game on. This was now war. That's when Klaus began using Josh to do his bidding, starting with bleeding an inner circle vampire dry of vervain. This was how Klaus was going to make an army of vampires. Then, after he got Josh to start off doing that, he and Rebekah made a plan with Sophie, for Katie to do a very powerful spell to conceal Sophie's locator spell. After contemplating it, she agreed, though she didn't want Katie to die. She knew this was the first step to getting Davina away from Marcel, though.

Later that night, they attended Marcel's party, while Katherine stayed home. She could take care of herself, human or not. Since she hadn't been outside in the back before, she decided to walk around the pool, which was where she saw a wolf look at her by a bush. After a few moments though, it left.

Katherine turned around to go inside, only to see someone, she figured was probably a witch.

"You're not supposed to be out here," the girl said.

"Who are you?" Katherine questioned.

"I'm Sabine. I'm one of Sophie's friends," she introduced.

"You're a witch," she stated.

"Sophie just asked me to come keep you company while everyone's out. You know, it's drawn to you. The child you're carrying is part vampire, part werewolf. You and Klaus made something special," Sabine told her.

"You sound like what Elijah would say, but he's I don't know where, and I don't even know what "it" is," she informed the witch.

"You know, I can do something about that, if you want. I mean, find out if it's a boy or a girl. It's not magic. Just an old trick my grandmother taught me. Come on. You have to be a little curious," Sabine suggested.

Later, Katie did a powerful spell while Sophie did a locator spell, but just when Sophie was close, Klaus killed Katie to show Marcel that he could be trusted. Sophie wanted to keep going, but Rebekah talked her out of it, not wanting her to get Katherine and the child killed because of the link.

After Katie's death, Marcel sealed Thierry in a wall in the Garden, and once home, Klaus informed Rebekah that he killed Katie to get Marcel's complete trust. In doing so, he believed that in due time, Marcel would tell Klaus everything about Davina.

Katherine was on a laptop in the study room, when Klaus walked in.

"I thought you might want to know that our plan is working," he announced to her.

"Congratulations. I guess being diabolical has its perks." She looked at him with a smile at that comment.

"My brother left without a look back, and yet you miss him. What is it about Elijah that always inspires such instant admiration?"

"He's kind more so than you, though you and I are alike more than I'd like to admit," she answered. "I learned something today. I think it's a girl," she added with a smile.

He smiled, before leaving the room.

Meanwhile, the witches were talking in the Lafayette cemetery.

Agnes spoke to Sophie.

"I told you no good would come from this unholy alliance of yours."

"At least, I'm doing something. What about you?" Sophie replied, before leaving in a huff.

"Sabine, tell them what you saw," Agnes said.

"It's the girl. The doppelganger," Sabine said.

Back at the study, Katherine was typing in what Sabine had said earlier when she'd been told it was a girl, but none of the matches seemed to work.
