The vampires were at Marcel's apartment, drinking and talking. Gia stood against the wall with her eyes closed, and caught a dart that was thrown by a vampire before it could hit her in the face. When she opened her eyes, she laughed and held out her hand to the vampire, glad that she'd been able to catch it.

"Pay up!" Gia said with a smirk.

The vampire gave her a hundred dollar bill. As the vampire did that, Josh was checking a message on a dating app on his phone, standing across the room. As Josh was doing that, Marcel walked over to him and handed him a drink.

"Any prospects?" Marcel asked him.

"Well, since you asked...Yeah, there's this one guy. We've been messaging so far, but...I think I like him. Like, really like him."

"So, what's the problem?" Marcel asked him.

"Oh, I don't know...I might have left a few things out of the old profile. For example, what has two thumbs and drinks blood to survive? Oh, right! This guy." He gave Marcel a double-thumbs-up.

Marcel laughed. Then, after a moment, Marcel was about to take a sip of his drink when someone was suddenly thrown through the windows. When everyone got up to investigate, they found it was one of their fellow vampires, who appeared to have had his throat ripped out by a werewolf. Suddenly, werewolves with moonlight rings swarmed the loft, which Oliver and another werewolf named Aiden led. Gia furiously glared at them and approached the wolves who had crashed their party.

"The hell is wrong with you people? We didn't do anything!" Gia yelled at them.

Aiden was unimpressed, as he said, "This is nothing your kind hasn't done to us. Learn your history."

"I don't know who the hell you are, but we had a deal. Vampires stay out of the Quarter? Everybody's cool," Marcel said.

"That's not good enough anymore," Aiden told him.

"Oh, yeah? Says who? You? Or that witch you all answer to now? Lenore, right? Never thought I'd see the day--proud werewolves on a witch's leash. I hope those rings you're wearing are worth it," Marcel replied.

Aiden smirked and nodded toward the wolves behind him. One of the werewolves grabbed another vampire and bit into his neck. A third werewolf went after Josh, and Josh used all of his strength to keep him from biting him as well.

"That's enough!" Aiden commanded.

Josh managed to push the werewolf off of him before he could be bitten, and was flustered as he glanced over at Aiden.

"Your privileges here have been revoked. Permanently. So, when we come back, you need to be gone. Because next time? I won't call them off," Aiden threatened.

Marcel glared at Aiden.

"Consider this a warning, Marcel. It's the only one you're gonna get," Aiden informed him.

Cami was at Vincent's office, still unaware of who he really was, thinking he was still just her psychology adviser at her school.

Vincent was sitting in a chair, as Cami, who was looking out the window, spoke to him. As she looked out the window, talking to him, she watched a montage of an All Hallows Eve party that was going on outside.

"This is a city of death. Fires, floods...to say nothing of the violence we do to each other. We may laissez les bon temps rouler, but really, we've turned life here into one big party to distract ourselves from a single, unavoidable truth--we're all going to die," Cami said.
