Time Can Mess Things Up

"I give up! This looks like a stairway to hell!!" Arthit screamed in annoyance staring the seems to be never ending stairs.

"It's Highway to Hell" Kongpop spoken as he kept climbing the stairs.

"Kongggg..."

"ARHH! Stop whining! I'm going to carry you upstairs.."

"W...What! No need to! It won't look good if you carry me! I'm not a girl!" Arthit stammers while blushing and avoid looking at Kongpop.

"I'm not carrying you bridal style that it will look awkward! I will give you a piggyride! Come here!" Kongpop shouts in irritation as he kneels down and waited for Arthit.

Arthit stares King's bent body and debated whether he should follow the order or not. Kongpop turns around when Arthit took more than the time needed and shouts again.

" Arthit! We don't have the whole day! It's already 2 pm and I'm hungry!"

"Yaaaa! I got it! No need to shout!" Arthit climbs on Kongpop's back and wraps his arm around his neck and legs around his waist.

Kongpop started climbing the stairs again and held Arthit tightly against his own body.
After climbing some distance, Arthit started to wonder.

"Am I heavy?" Arthit asked worriedly.

"I'm used to carrying sack at my home" Kong teases Arthit.

"Hey! You're calling me sack???" Arthit hit Kongpops' head in anger.

"Careful Or else I might lose my balance!"

"Hum! I will jump off or you will fall alone!" Arthit spoke childishly.

"Haha. I will never let you fall because of I.." Kongpop stopped in the middle and becomes silent.

"Because You what?? huh? Tell me, Tell me! " Arthit asked in curiosity.

"Nothing. None of your business"

Awan........

Since Awan didn't have any major classes today he decided to bunk college. Currently, he was watching some soapy Korean drama with a bowl full of popcorn at his parents home.

Suddenly his phone started ringing, usually, he would have ignored the call at such times but since it was ringtone he set for his special person, he decided to attend the call.

"Phee! Where are you?" Em asked excitedly

"At home"

"Oh.. I'm coming then"

"I'm at my parents home silly"

"Oh.."

"They aren't home, I'm sending you address. You better be here within half an hour"

"Your wish is my command, My Lady"

"Fuck off"

"I Fuck you"

"Shut up! You idiot!" Awan shouted in embarrassment.

Arthit.

"Finally! We reached the top!" Arthit screamed as soon as he saw the temple. Kongpop chuckles at Arthit's excitement and slowly walks closer to temple.

Soon Arthit saw his parents and shouted at the top of his lung.

"Mae! Dadd!" Arthit waves excitedly towards his parents still being carried by Kong who walked towards Arthit's parents.
Arthit's parents look at pair in wonder as they approach them.

"I thought you won't make it and who's this boy? " Arthit's dad asked as Arthit gets off Kong.

"I'm his junior, we had the same destination so we decided to travel together. I should take my leave" Kongpop replies as he respectfully wai to Arthit's parent.

"Don't go, let's go inside temple Together" Arthit stops Kongpop.

"I don't want to trouble you any further....., it's better I leave"

"If I ask you to stay then you stay! You're not trouble!" Arthit shouted in anger and pulled Kong along with him towards the temple.

Rome and Bright

"P'Bright! P'Bright! Open the door! Open the door!!!" Rome shouted as he knocked on Bright's dorm door.

Soon as he heard that Bright was sick from Knot, he left without informing Tew who was busy buying shirts. He tried to call Bright but Bright didn't pick up the call which made him feel more scared.

He can't stop imagining a scenario where Bright fall of the bed while trying to get water or faint suddenly as tried to get something to eat.

He was about to call some people to break the door when sleepy face Bright opened the door and stares Rome in confusion.

"Rome? I thought I gave you extra keys to my dorm?" Bright asked in confusion. Rome's turned bright red as he remembered that there were keys in his bag.

"Phee! P'Knot said your sick and I became so worried. I came running here! I forgot about the keys! I.. I..." Rome spoke in a teary voice. Bright pulls Rome inside the room and lock the door.

He sat on the couch and pulls Rome in his lap. Bright grins widely and kiss Rome's forehead tenderly.

" I'm happy! " Bright said as he pulled Rome closer.

" Phee?" Rome whispers in confusion.

"You're the best thing happened to me in my life! I never thought someone will become this worried for me just by hearing that I'm not well" Bright said will cradling Rome close to himself.

"Hm.."

Arthit......

Kongpop and Arthit were sitting near the stairs waiting for Arthit's parents while they were busy praying to Buddha.

"Why are you so stubborn! First, you flirted with and made me fall and now you are ditching me like you have completed your bet with your friend!" Arthit whines.

"What the hell Arthit? How the hell your mind work so stupidly" Kong asked in amusement.

"Shut up!... Stop being so cruel with me, what if I die suddenly and then you will regret what you should have confessed your feelings before I died... Like all cringy movies," Arthit spoke while in deep thought.

"Were you all this cheeky or you suddenly changed so now?" Kongpop asked in wonder.

"Naa. It's only happening with you, even if I don't want it but my heart and mind both are telling me that this smart, flirty, and stubborn is only made for me and I shouldn't let him go or I might regret it in future..." Arthit replied Looking at a distance where few kids were playing. Kongpop felt his heart skip a beat, he slowly moves slower to Arthit and whispered.

" Arthit... "

" You make me feel like I'm free, I don't need to act like someone or something I'm not. You love me with all my flaws and yet you never complain. Yes I know it sounds like I'm in love in idea of you loving me but it's not true! I'm in love with the idea that there is someone who loves me unconditionally and for him, I'm ready to do the same. I'm ready to fight anyone and anything for you and for our love. If only you allow me. " Arthit whispers shyly. Kongpop smiles softly and held Arthit's hand.

" I l..... "

" These brats got the energy to play even after climbing all these stairs, wait till I make them do 20 push-up and squat!! " Suddenly Arthit shouted, pointing towards a small group of children. Kongpop chuckles and stands up. He dusts his clothes and offers his hand to Arthit.

"Let's go back... P'Arthit"
