Time Can Mess Things Up

LVIII

Rome was at Bright's flat, staring at the piece of paper blanking. Today what has happened made him feel scared, he no longer felt like doing anything. He just wants to embrace Bright and hide away from everything. 

Rome was startled when Bright wrapped his arm around his waist and kissed his cheek. Bright notice Rome's unusual behaviour and hugs him closer. 

"What are you worried about Rome? You can share everything with me... You know that Right?" 

"Phee... It's just... I don't know.." 

"It's fine... I'm here! Come let's go to sleep" Bright carried Rome to bed and put him to bed gently. He joins Rome after closing the light and pulls the boy closer to make him feel safe and warm. 

"I love you Rome... I'm always here for you" Rome clutches Bright's shirt as he hides his face in a crook of a neck. 

Three hours ago...

Kongpop decided not to think much about the riddle unlike his friends and was going around to find his seniors for the wrist tying ceremony. Kongpop saw Deer and decided to greet him.

Kongpop waid Deer as he sat in front him for tying the thread. Deer stares at Kongpop and spoke

"I still don't approve you for Ai'Oon" 

"I will try my best to get your approval," Kongpop said with determination while Deer tied the thread. Next Em came and sat next to Kongpop causing Deer to frown at the boy. 

"I don't even think you are a candidate to date, my brother!" Deer shouts at Em who smiles awkwardly.

"Phee!" Awan who was approaching them glares his brother in annoyance. 

Kongpop decided to leave them alone and looked around for Arthit. He found Arthit talking to some seniors and waited for them to leave before going near Arthit. 

"P'Arthit.." Arthit's heart skips a beat as he saw Kongpop and he rubs the back of his head. 

"Will you tie this for me?" Kongpop offers the thread to Arthit. Arthit stares at Kongpop before taking the thread. 

"Stop being over smart, be a good boy and listen to your seniors" Arthit commanded kongpop as he tied the thread around Kongpop's wrist. Kongpop chuckles and speaks. 

"That depends if Phee will be cooperative with me or... " Kongpop grind when saw Arthit flush, Arthit hits Kongpop's chest and then leans and plant a quick kiss on his lips 

"I guess you got the answer" Arthit walks away leaving Kongpop stunned. 

"He will cause the death of mine," Kongpop whispers. 

Tew was sandwiched between Bright and Toota who were teasing him because they were bored while Rome and Wad were distracted. 

"Oi! What both of you are thinking?" Toota asked, making Rome look at him in a daze.

"Are you fine in Rome? If you're tired, Let's go back home" Bright suggested as he noticed the tired face of Rome.

"No Phee... It's ok... I'm fine" Rome tried to smile but failed.

"Come let me tie thread on your all wrists" Toota suggested taking out the thread.

Soon all the juniors tie the thread around the juniors hand. They were joking and giggling, even Rome and Wad were feeling relaxed now. 

"P'Toota!" Toota turns back and smiles happily when he sees Ryu standing behind him smiling. Toota makes some space so that Ryu can join them and offers him snacks.
