Time Can Mess Things Up

Day 7th....

Wad opened his eyes, he realised he was laying on the bed and found himself in familiar yet unfamiliar surroundings. Wad looks around in confusion. He hears the door of the room opening and looks at the person walking inside the room with anticipation. 

"NO!" He screams in surprise when saw Older version of Prem walking in the room towards the bed.

"Wad" Prem whispers feeling guilty for the scared boy in front of him. 

"No! NO! this all is dream! You aren't real! Where's my P'Prem" Wad started to hyperventilating, Prem's face falls on seeing Wad's reaction and he tries to comfort Wad but Wad pushed him away.

"Don't touch me"

"I hurt you this bad that you're even scared of my touch?" Prem asked sorrowfully. 

Rome... 

Rome was woken up by the voice of Bright calling his name, he thought he's dreaming at first but then the voice became louder. Rome sat on the bed and looked at the familiar surroundings and desperately looked for the source of sound which woke him up. 

Rome could still hear Bright calling him, then Rome realised something. He was in their home from the future, Rome saw their photos hanging on the wall. Rome turns and sees their photo from last vacation on the bed side table, he picks it up and caresses it with a smile.

Rome runs out of the bedroom towards the kitchen when he hears Bright calling him again and sees Bright trying to cook something. 

"Rome! I made us breakfast, it's little burnt but still edible" 

Rome's eyes moistened when he saw Bright whose back was facing towards Rome. Rome rushed to Bright's side and hugs his back. Bright felt his shirt getting wet from Rome's tear and smiles longingly. 

"Phee! I miss you! I miss you so much" 

Bright turned around and made Rome look at him, he gently wiped his tears which kept flowing from Rome's eyes and kissed his both eyes softly. 

"Don't cry... I know you suffered a lot... Please, I don't want you to suffer anymore" Bright pulled Rome into his embrace while Rome was holding Bright tightly as if he was scared he might disappear again. 

"Phee... I don't want to be separated from you again! I want to stay you here even if it's just a dream" 

"Rome, I will give you two choices... 1) Go back to past and forget about Future forever 2) come back to Future with me" Bright looks at Rome with seriousness as he spoke

"I don't know what to do Phee, I don't know.... I made your past self fall in love with me and now if I will.... He will be hurt, I don't want to hurt you who's in the past... But I don't want to stay with you..." Rome was confused, he looked at Bright for help. 

"Rome, listen to your heart... Be selfish and choose what you think is best for you. Don't dwell in any kind of guilt..." Bright advised Rome. 

"Phee...." 

"Always remember Rome, even if you don't choose me I'm still going to love you unconditionally" Bright held Rome's face in his hand and told Rome. 

"I want to be selfish... I want to be Happy" Rome whispers looking in Bright's eyes. 

"Then don't be confused anymore.... Just close your eyes and wish do you want" Bright told Rome.

Rome closes his eyes, still tightly holding Bright's hand and whispers to himself.
