The Snowstorm

It took them a while to finish up on exploring the house, particularly with Peyton's leg to which James found quite funny and kept teasing her about it. 

'Mum n dads gonna freak,' he laughed, pointing at her leg, this made Peyton more annoyed, how mean could her brother be? 

Meanwhile, unaware that it was afternoon, a snowstorm started to rise up, whipping snow around everywhere, and there were two parents worried about one tween and two teens. 

'Peyton, James Elleanor,' Winonya called out among the street, but it was no good, the wind was getting badder, and eventually they had to go inside.

'Well, that's a wrap,' Peyton said, tired, she stumbled to the window, 'um, I'm not sure about this but it seems that we might have been snowed in.' 

'What?' James exclaimed, getting up and looking out a window. 

Elleanor joined, there was a lot of snow parched up against the door, and it kept getting higher and higher. This seemed quite bad. 

'Well, like I said, I thought we could've been snowed in,' and she excitedly got out a frozen pizza from her bag, and tried to stand up, 'I mean, this is so cool.' 

'Well it's really not,' James moaned, grabbing the pizza from her and stood up, 'besides, your leg is broken and where stuck inside an old house, what are we going to do?' 

'Um I don't know,' Elleanor groaned, it was her fault, all her fault. She landed them in this mess, and she now had to get them out of it. 

'I'll try and ring home,' Peyton said hopefully, then turned towards her phone, 'wait! But there's no reception.' 

'How will we ever make it out of this?' She asked Peyton. 

'Well,' she said, 'there's always those people in movies or books that are put in survival situations,' she said, 'maybe this is like a movie or something.' 

'Yeah well I hope it goes well.' 

'Yeah.' 

And the two girls simply stared at each other then smirked, they were going to be fine, they had each other.
