The interior of the place was amazing, Peyton stepped through the polished flooring, and gaped at the tapestry, it was simply like being a princess in a castle. She was still hoping of any sign of movement, if she found anyone in this castle, in an instant she heard a creak from upstairs.

'Hello?' She called out.

There was no respond.

'Hello?'

Still no respond.

Reluctantly, she ran up the stairs, hoping to see something cool, as she reached the second floor, she found a boarded up room; it looked quite broken, a bit of the roof had even fallen off the house, leaving a patch of sun in the middle of the room, and a shady area of darkness in the back.

'Um, is there anyone in here?'

No respond.

Just as she was about to leave, something or someone from the dark yelped, 'wait! Don't leave.'

Peyton turned around again, and asked, 'who are you?'

'You really don't want to know,' the voice said, 'only that I've been here by myself for 26 years waiting for my father to someday return.'

'Wait? Your father?'

'Yes,' the voice said, 'his name was Edward.'

Edward? That rung a bell, wait, did she know who Edward Scissorhands was?

'Edward?' Peyton asked again, 'you're father was named Edward?'

'Yes.'

'Like in Edward Scissorhands?'

'Well that's what people used to say.'

'Wait,' Peyton said again, 'do you have any sort of, of appearance of your father?'

'Um, I don't know.'

'Please come out into the light.'

'No,' she said again, 'I look too hideous, you'll run.'

'Oh I won't judge you.'

Reluctantly, Peyton heard scapes of metal, and footsteps coming out from the darkness, and a person had appeared. In fact, she never thought this girl was hideous, her face was gorgeous, however she had hands made out of scissors.

'So, you are a female version of him,' Peyton gaped, for a moment or so, she was just staring at this girl.

'Well, I've never seen a human before,' she said, a rise in excitement started to rise in her voice, 'however, I have no memory of my past time.'

'Your pastime?' Peyton repeated, 'surely you have memories of childhood.'

'No, I really don't,' she panicked again, her hands started to shake.

'Do you remember your name?' Peyton pressed on.

'Yes,' she said, 'my name is Elleanor.'

'Elleanor,' she repeated, 'well that's a pretty name.'

'Thank you,' Elleanor said, then asked 'may I ask what your name is?'

'Oh, it's Peyton,' she replied, 'Peyton Boggs.'

'Peyton,' her father called, 'where are you?'

'Oh no,' she gasped, 'my father is here to try and sell this house, maybe I'll convince him not to.'

'Oh, okay,' Elleanor said drastically, she never really knew someone had wanted to sell this house. 'I should probably hide-'

'Hide? No!' Peyton gasped again, 'you're coming with us.'

'You? But what about this place, and your family?' Elleanor stated in shock, 'I mean I would love to come with you, but this place-'

'Elleanor,' Peyton stared into her eyes, 'I promise you that no one in my family will judge you, and this house will not be going on sale,' she paused, 'are you with me?'

She thought for a moment, then finally answered, 'alright, I will.'
